2022! (What's The Plan For This Year)

If I hadn't said it to you yet, happy new year! 2021 was a difficult year for many of us - I've got my fingers crossed 2022 will be a lot better for all of us. For me however, last year also represented many new beginnings. But new beginnings come with new responsibilities as well. In spite of me adjusting the early supporter tiers in May, I still found myself quite overwhelmed with my workload in the latter half of 2021. Currently, I'm not entirely sure how my workload will look in 2022. I'm excited, but admittedly also worried about how I can fit it all together. Even so, thank you for bearing with me, and I look forward to all the art I'll make this year. As you may have seen from my Deanna character sheet, I'm really hoping to get back to my own characters and finally start expanding upon their stories!

The next part is important for the people on the limited early supporter tiers:

As you know, the early supporter tiers were always meant to be temporary, but I've found myself reluctant to let them go because they've allowed me to draw so many fun things for so many kind supporters. With that said, as my body of work, experience and workload increases, they become harder to justify fitting into my schedule. My solution for this in 2021 was to increase the prices - my solution this year will be something different:

1: After May 2022 (or as of June 2022, if you like), the early supporter tiers will count for 1 request per 2 months of support.

2: I've realized that 4-part sketch sequences give me more stress than single panel full color pieces, so I'll be reducing that to either a full color single character piece (in other words, the same) or a THREE part sketch request.

It's only fair that I inform you of this well in advance. If this change means you can't or don't want to support the Patreon at that tier anymore after May, that is perfectly understandable. This way, I can keep the early supporter tiers around but have them fit in my schedule more easily.

Another important thing to note about early supporter tiers is that once a spot is left, that spot is dissolved permanently. The spots are exclusively for the people who decided to support me early, so it makes no sense to leave open spots when this Patreon is over a year old. If the circumstances make it so you have to stop supporting but you would like to keep your spot, please let me know in advance.

Sorry for the long post! Just thought I'd let you know how things will change this year. Please let me know if you have any questions!
