it took me a long time to watch this movie because I'd always get mad when people said it was better than Mononoke (which I still disagree), but it is amazing I have to admit. I especially love the way the 7 deadly sins are kind of incorporated through characters, on purpose or not

Of course, it's not himself=modern man but his environment, his actions, everything he does is a metaphor. And when you put it that way, you can see the reason for it in everything he doesπ

2024-04-08 00:32:38 +0000 UTCI absolutely love this movie, my favorite scenes are when they're on the train with the score and the sound of the train running through the water. I first watched this when I was 10 or 11, so many years ago, and I would say it had a major impact on my interest in Anime. If you ever feel like rewatching, the English Dub is excellent.
