Right, so here's the thing about this arc. Neither the roller race nor the two games after it were in the original manga. Either the anime producers loved this arc as much as I do or they still needed more filler content, but the anime effectively doubled the length of this arc. And honestly good on it since I do think the original version went by too quickly for having such a unique premise. The roller race is probably my favorite of the games and it isn't even canon!
