Arcane definitely takes place in a different reality than the one where the game itself takes place. Obviously the stablished lore of League has great influence on the story of Arcane… but there are differences on what we know and what the show tells us. Knowing about league lore will simply give you more context about all the things that the show presents to you, it will not necessarily spoil you about future plot points…. But you can certainly predict some things more accurately if you do have that knowledge. Is your decision of course, it depends on how clueless you want to be during your reactions of any potential future shows. My recommendation… is that you wait at least until Season 2 of Arcane ends before you start delving into League Lore (if you decide that you want to know more). As I said in previous episodes…. Necrit’s videos on YouTube are a good place to learn more.

Oh yeah I just couldn’t imagine attempting that shit there. I know she’s an absolutely excellent shot, but damn that’s not a 100% certainty. I definitely side with Vi stopping her. And there’s a part of me that actually wants to read up on the lore for League, but I don’t know if I want to spoil any potential future show they create. But I also don’t know how accurate this show is to the source.

That intro scene with Cassandra's recording explaining what the Grey is and that it was the Kiramman Family the one who created the ventilation system that keeps it at bay... is the perfect way to showcase how far into the deep-end Caitlyn is. "The people of the Underground deserve to Breath" well..... that seems to not be the case now that Cait has lost her mother i guess. They did talk about the Grey before, it was in one of the first scenes of episode 2 when Smeech and his Goons arrive at Margot's hideout and they find the place filled with the Gas. Granted.... when smeech talked about it it was a very throw-away kind of line so don't feel bad about forgetting about it. The scene with Ambessa and Amara is mostly a sneak-peek of the larger world and conflicts outside of Piltover and Zaun. Those of us who know about league lore know very well that what that scene entails. i won't give you a detailed explaination of it cuz i know you want to find out things for yourself.... so here's the gist of it: The Black Rose is a secret organization of magic users in Noxus who do very shady stuff, they have eyes and ears all over Runeterra and they are responsible for a lot of political discord, such as the feud that Ambessa currently has due the death of her son, she is currently here in Piltover to get her hands on Hextech which would give her a significant boost of power to fight against this Organization. (this is not a spoiler in case you're thinking that, you can extrapolate Ambessa's goals if you put together the small pieces of information the show gives you). The Leader of the Black Rose is a Champion in League... so the fact that this organization has made a direct appearance in Arcane makes me believe that the next League of Legends animated show will be focused on Noxus. I LOVE Lest's design, she's the most Gorgeous Vastaya i have seen in the League Franchise. Fun Fact (in case someone didn't tell you): Elora (Mel's assistant) is voiced by Erica Lindbeck, who also voices Loona in Helluva Boss. Another Fun Fact: Janna, the "Wispy Wind Woman" that Jinx talks about to Vi.... is another Champion in League, she's a spirit of the Wind that was worshipped on an ancient Shuriman City (Shurima is another Region of Runeterra), the place where Vi and Jinx had their fight are the ruins of that ancient city.... and that's why there are depictions of Janna there. And another Fun Fact!: the chanting you hear during the song "To Ashes and Blood" by Woodkid.... is sang in the Shuriman language, and it's a prayer to Janna herself. Vi was certianly conflicted about Jinx, but she really meant what she said to Cait.... she was really going to kill her, you can see Vi winding up her punch in the frame right before it cuts to Isha. if it wasn't for Isha putting herself between them then that would've been it for Jinx. Isha is just an orphan kid who stumbled on Jinx, she's an original character of this show just like Mel, Silco and Sevika. I know it seems hard to say for certain..... but there's enough evidence to say that Cait was NOT going to miss that shot, there's evidence for sure in season one but if you go back to episode 1 of this season and look at the final moments of the Memorial Fight you'll notice that when Cait starts shooting at the Big Shimmer Warrior.... all of her bullets land at the exact same spot on the Warrior's helmet, even when the Warrior is moving and shifting when he's running... Cait always hits the same spot with the 8 shots she fired. So it is safe to say that Isha wasn't in any danger with Cait shooting at Jinx, but of course..... Vi doesn't know that, so it is understanble that she didn't want to take that risk.

I feel as though this season introduced a lot of lore that is more intertwined with League of Legends (essentially all the magic related stuff) which I think viewers can adjust too but I think it was a little bit too much at once and I don't blame people for being confused. Hell I used to play the game and be into the lore and I got confused.
