ADVENTURE TIME 5X34 "The Vault" Full Length Reaction

Another Big Lore episode.... For a long time the fandom had the theory that the mysterious Ghost Lady Finn saw in the "Creeps" episodes was actually his dead mother. But it turns out she was actually Finn himself..... but from one of his past lives (confirmation that Reincarnation exist in AT). Shoko was her name, and she seemed like a very troubled individual. And Yes, it is indeed a curious detail that one of Finn's past lives it's shown not having an arm, and as you said.... is a reocurring theme of Finn's character. In the episode "Mortal Foil" Finn imagined himself as an adult having lost an arm and replaced it with a mechanical one..... and later..... we saw that Farmworld Finn from the episode "Finn the Human" doesn't have an arm as well. We see that Shoko lived in a time when the Candy Kingdom was still being constructed.... however we see that there are still some leftover radiation rivers from the Mushroom War. Given that magical creatures seem to be already showing up in the world..... my personal take is that Shoko lived approximately 300 to 400 years after the Mushroom War, which would mean that this flashback takes place 600-700 years before the show. You most likely don't remember this detail...... but Bubblegum saying that Mr. Creampuff is "like her boyfriend" is a reference to the very first episode of the show "Slumber Party Panic", when Finn and Bubblegum where trying to revive Mr. Creampuff... PB mentions to Finn that she and Mr. Creampuff "used to date"...... which is an insane callback to an early piece of lore. HA! i saw that you didn't notice the transition from Shoko's final resting place to the present time...... she died besides the sappling that would one day become Finn and Jake's Tree-House, i knew you would be mind-blown when they showed her corpse xddd. And yeah.... technically speaking.... Finn and PB have known and being friends wih each other for centuries, which reminds me a lot of a certain dialogue line said in Avatar The Last Airbender (i won't specify which line cuz i don't know if you have seen the Avatar shows or not).
