The title of this episode "Too Old" is a direct parallel to the episode of season 3 "Too Young", which is the episode where Lemongrab did his debut. Yeah.... it's confirmed that Finn and Phoebe broke up, and Finn is definitely not in a good state mentally, he's trying to bounce back on his relationship with Bubblegum which obviously leads to awkward situations. Also i forgot to mention this before, but Finn is officially 15 years old now, it was never stated in the show proper but a member of the staff confirmed that Finn turns 15 during the second half of Season 5. "What happened" is what you saw in the last Graybles episode, Black Lemongrab got mad at White Lemongrab and ended up eating half of his body. Oh yeah, that toilet.......... the implications are..... not very pleasant to think about. Not surprised you related Black Lemongrab with Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, that is actually a pretty accurate comparison, after eating W Lemongrab... B Lemongrab became a Fat dictator in their Earldom. "Pranks, like old times" another callback to the episode "Too Young" where Finn and young Bubblegum did pranks to Lemongrab to make him leave the Candy Kingdom. Also not surprised you are annoyed with Finn, and who wouldn't be? but like i said before.... his mental condition is not good right now, he's trying to compensate his own sense of loss by trying to get PB to "like" him again. He's hoping that by getting together with Bonnie he can fill the void Flame Princess left him.
