This episode is great.... That Shirt is very iconic. That is the same shirt Bubblegum wanted to get back from the Door Lord in the episode "What was Missing" from Season 3. In that episode it was revealed that Marceline gave that shirt to PB and she has kept it as Pajamas (and that episode also pretty much confirmed that PB and Marcy have history together). We got a small cameo of Science the Rat who was sleeping in PB's closet, we haven't seen it since their debut in the episode "From Bad to Worse" from season 3. This show throws a lot of information at you so i understand your confusion.... but remember.... Marcy is a Vampire, therefore she needs a way to cover up her body in case she needs to travel during daylight. "My GoogooMama Meter is going Babies" probably my favorite Bubblegum phrase in the entire show xddddddd. YES! Maja is the witch to whom Ash (Marcy's Ex) sold Hambo without her consent, as we saw in the episode "Memory of a Memory" from season 3 (this episode has a lot of season 3 references). Im happy you remembered that detail. I think a really interesting detail about this episode is that Maja was willing to trade Hambo for PB's shirt.... becauase the beneficts she gets from it outclasses those from Hambo. This is turn means that the sentimental value that PB has for that shirt Marceline gave her..... is significantly stronger than the sentimental value Marcy has for Hambo.... which (i remind you) is a gift that Simon gave to her when they met each other, no less. Really interesting stuff.
