As has been said, I can't blame you for distrusting Cobra. Authority figures in One Piece are usually not to be trusted. Raindinners is such a cool setpiece. I'd love to see what they do with the place in live action.

Every arc has so many moving parts it makes for a lot of really hype moments. The Luffy and Usopp meeting Smoker and Tashigi in the bar is such a classic scene and is hilarious every time I watch it. You were also right to doubt Cobra, because at this point in the story 99.9% of the characters you have met who are associated with "The Government" in some capacity have been assholes. So its a safe assumption until they give you something to prove otherwise haha
