I’m 50-50 on it. Yeah on one side lying usually isn’t a good thing but on the other side it’s to try and protect her. And to be fair these characters are teenagers who whole world flipped upside down. They gonna make decisions that might not be the best. I do think personally they would of told her eventually- nathan

I know I’m gonna get heat for this but I don’t care. It’s really hard for me to agree with stiles when the topic of Malia and Peter came up in this episode. I get it, Peter is not a trustworthy person but what good have secrets and lies done for anyone? Stiles was right they did lose Malia when she found out, even though it was temporary. But she was more upset that they lied to her rather than tell her the truth about her family. Also, even though Malia went to Peter she still never fully trusted him because she remembered what her friends told her. And this is what started stiles on his path to dropping on my favorite characters list! Especially since his first instinct is to lie! Please don’t say “he lied to protect her” that’s just another way of saying “he just didn’t trust her”
