In addition to my previous point I have theory on why Scott is “weak" Scott doesn’t have the typical Alpha to beta werewolf pack in fact the only actual beta he has is liam and the previous was isaac which was Dereks beta. The idea is the Alphas draw strength from their betas but he only has 1 true beta of his making. Kira is a fox, Malia is a coyote, Lydia human/Banshee, styles human. So without the literal Alpha and Beta relationship its not a natural pack. Maybe im just too deep into it😂😂😂

Scott has a full pack that keep growing since S1 and Derek lost all of them and became part of Scott pack. I don’t know about you but he seems especially succesful as a alpha considering all of them are dead or lost their power.
