The Holy Sol church is the main religion of the Japan empireโฆ the 7th district neither supports the empire nor the religion, hence why there is no prayer. Itโs even said that the empire had to recognize the 7thโs โneighborhood watchโ, implying the 7th were never trying to fire soldiers or church relatedโฆ just that benimaru and his crew had their own statement that the empire was forced to acknowledge.
