Kotone Shiomi Werewolf TF Story

Kotone Shiomi stood her ground, her naginata raised high as she leaped, and she delivered one last powerful blow to the third Maya Shadow. The weapon sliced through the creature's form with relentless force, causing it to dissipate into nothingness.

Breathing heavily, Kotone lowered her naginata and surveyed her surroundings. The battle had taken its toll on her, and she could feel the strain in her muscles as she used the naginata as a support. The rooftop of the dormitory was silent now that the shadows were gone.

Yukari Takeba, who had been knocked down by the Arcana Magician stared at her in disbelief. "I can't believe it," she murmured to herself. "Was that really her persona?"

Kotone, feeling the exhaustion wash over her, struggled to maintain her composure. Her initial summoning of Orpheus triggered an unexpected transformation into a darker shape that emerged from within Orpheus, the Personification of Death itself, Thanatos. But while that mysterious Persona allowed her to take on the massive shadow, that intense battle had drained her of most of her strength, leaving her with just enough to fend off the smaller, remaining shadows.

Yukari, having nursed the small bruise from earlier, made her way over to Kotone. She approached cautiously, concern etched on her face. "Hey, Kotone, are you alright?"

Kotone tried to respond, but before she turned to face Yukari, her legs gave out. She collapsed to the floor, unconscious after using all of her strength for the Awakening of her Persona. Yukari's eyes widened in alarm, and she quickly knelt by Kotone's side. She gently shook the new transfer student, her voice tinged with worry as she called out, "Hey Kotone! Wake up!"

---

The doctors had just finished talking with Mitsuru Kirijo, who was accompanied by Yukari. As the doctors left the room, Yukari's gaze shifted to Kotone, who lay in a hospital bed, still unconscious. Yukari's expression was a mix of guilt and concern, her voice laced with regret as she spoke, "It's my fault... I hesitated with the Evoker, and now Kotone is in a coma..."

Mitsuru approached Yukari, placing a calm and reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Takeba, this isn't your fault. We were all caught up in the battle, and we couldn't stop that Shadow from reaching you two and the both of you lacked the training to fight them head-on."

Yukari sighed, looking back at Kotone. "I know, but I can't help but feel responsible. She just got here, and now she's in this state."

Mitsuru offered a small, understanding smile. "I understand. But right now, all we can do is wait until she wakes up. Once she does, we can explain everything that happened, we owe her a few answers after all"

Yukari nodded, her gaze lingering on Kotone. "Yeah, you're right. We'll be here for her when she wakes up."

After their conversation, Yukari took her leave, leaving Mitsuru alone with her thoughts. Her gaze shifted to the window, the sun already descending toward the horizon.

With a sigh, she recognized that she needed to return to the dorms and prepare for what awaited her tonight after it didn’t happen two days ago. After one more glance at the girl on the bed, Mitsuru left the room.

---

As night descended, the room's lights were turned on, and the almost full moon outside cast its silvery glow into the hospital room.

It didn't take long before it was midnight, signaling the arrival of the Dark Hour. A heavy silence settled in the room as the rest of the hospital turned to coffins. For a while, nothing happened, the entire room remained silent, as if frozen in time even in such a dangerous environment. And yet, the silhouette of the girl on the bed, printed to the floor, is subtly changing, and the blanket obscures those changes.

But then, the silence was shattered by the muffled groans that escaped Kotone's lips. Her body twisted and turned around the bed. It was as if she was somehow recovering from her coma prematurely. Her breathing quickened, and beads of sweat formed on her forehead.

Her hand then gripped her blanket before tossing it with one fell swoop, a strength that shouldn't have appeared so easily. Her unconscious body then sat up on its own slowly, and yet, it rolled past the sitting position until her legs were the ones by the pillows now.

Once it adjusted its position to be properly on her hands and knees, Kotone's eyes, which were now a piercing yellow, snapped open with her pupils being dilated. "Ngg…-a-argh-ah-ak-KKH! RROOOAAAR!! AAWOOOOOO!!" What was initially a cracked voice turned into a bestial roar turned howling that echoes through the walls and into the hallways of the hospital. She arched her back to face the ceiling of the hospital bed, in response to the primal force that just surged through her.

Her body finally relaxed back albeit unmoving, but confusion and fear were etched across her face as she gasped for breath and regained her consciousness. Her eyes, now back to her normal crimson, darted around the room, taking in the surroundings. "What is happening...? Where am I?!" she muttered, her voice trembling.

Kotone attempted to move to sit up, but not only that she realized that her back wasn’t rested on anything, a force seemed to hold her down. "Grrck!" Gritting her teeth, she tried to fight it, but it proved too strong, leaving her panting exhaustingly with frustration in the back of her head, "Why...?"

The unnaturally bright moon outside the window caught her attention, its green light was almost blinding. Something about it seemed different, more intense, and she could not bear to watch it.

Looking at her right wanting to avoid being blinded by the moonlight, her eyes fell upon her own shadow, which now in its place was the shape of a monstrous beast with glowing red shapes on where its eye is, mirroring her every move.

Terror gripped Kotone as she looked at it in fear and confusion with her now glowing eyes "No... it can't be my... Ah!.. AAAAAHH!" Her words were cut off abruptly by a deafening crack, causing her to let out a gut-wrenching cry in agony into the air, while her short ponytail was hoisted by the wind.

Kotone could do nothing but writhe in pain as her bones began to move on their own as if this body wasn't even hers and she was now the passenger being driven into a car crash.

"Aaagh!... My... AH! What's happening to my body?!" The scream tore from Kotone's throat as her body contorted on the bed, her limbs trembling uncontrollably.

Her arms felt like they were burning, muscles surged and bulged, her biceps and forearms growing more defined by the second. It was as if her body was reshaping itself, shifting into a form she couldn't comprehend.

Struggling to control her panic, she attempted to move her head, but despite managing to move her neck unlike the rest of her body, her gaze was fixed on the terrifying changes happening to her arms. While her eyes stopped glowing for now. Her fingers twitch involuntarily, her palms stretching forward followed by awful cracks and pops as they extend and she is starting to lose connection to the nerve on her palms.

"Ah... Ah! AH!" Kotone's cries echoed in the room as she watched it in horror, her voice quivering with a mixture of fear and confusion.

Her fingernails began to crack and splinter. The once-feminine nails were giving way to emerging, sharp, black claws that seemed to meld seamlessly with her transforming hands. Simultaneously, small strands of hair sprouted on her forearms, spreading like a growing wave. While what is on her former hand that isn't her claws began to lift off the bed, straining her former fingers quite a bit.

Kotone's breaths came in rapid, panicked gasps as she watched the changes unfold before her eyes. Her hands were becoming something different, something animalistic. She choked on her own breath, realizing the unimaginable, yet slightly misguided truth. "Am I-! Turning... Ugh... a... dog?"

The discomfort intensified and groans escaped her lips as her teeth began to ache. It felt as if they were being forcibly extracted by a doctor, causing her to wince in pain. Slowly, her teeth started to reshape themselves, growing into sharp fangs within her mouth. It makes it more uncomfortable to clench her mouth shut as if they're telling her to keep her jaws gaping and let the fangs that reflect the moonlight into glinting dripstones. Forcing her mouth to choke for every second through this until the caves into the abyss that formed inside are completed.

The transformation still persisted in other parts, however, as now her ears were the next to change. Kotone winced at the feeling of her once-human ears elongated and became pointed. The skin around the base of her ears thickened, beginning to develop a layer of coarse, fur-like hair that matched the color of her growing paws and forearms. It also began to threaten the XXII hairpin she so dearly loved.

Sensitivity heightened at the edges of her ears, causing them to twitch involuntarily, catching even the faintest sounds in what should be a soundless and eerie Dark Hour. The sensation of her ears shifting and reshaping, and the new sounds, added to the discomfort of her ongoing transformation.

She didn't even dare to look back at this point, but even then, she could still feel what was happening next. "Nng!... m-my feet... it hurts!" Kotone's voice quivered with pain as her toes and feet elongated, forming powerful, clawed digits that along the base were taking on the form of paws. Her toenails broke just like her fingernails before, giving way to formidable claws that dug into the bed beneath her, scrubbing against the pillow behind her. A layer of dense, coarse fur spread across the tops of her feet as her thumbs are becoming useless.

Her arches subtly rose and lifted her knees, offering enhanced stability and agility on all fours, while also aiding in the claws dug themselves further behind and deeper, rending through the pillow and into the bed. The bones in her feet shifted, adapting to their new, more animalistic structure.

Her sobs reverberated in the room, but now, the transformation wasn't satisfied in just keeping her in place anymore "Huh...?" Kotone's distress deepened as she witnessed her left arm moving of its own accord, defying her commands or its previous patterns she just figured out.

Her gaze locks onto her hand, watching in helpless horror as changes unfold before her eyes. Pads had emerged from her palm, the skin stretching and reconfiguring itself to accommodate the transformation.

Her terror escalates as her transformed hand continues its purposeful movements, acting beyond her control. Paws grasp the fabric of her hospital robes. Although paws aren't supposed to be dexterous, their strength takes her aback as sharpened claws dig into the fabric.

Unbelievably, her hand begins to pull at the collar of the robe, the material straining and resisting her futile attempts to stop it. "No no no!" The fabric eventually yields under the force, tearing with a sound that adds to the surreal and unsettling atmosphere of the moment.

With a final groan, the collar gives way, the robe torn apart. Her paws tossed her robe outside. Reluctantly having to face the moon once more, she looks at the piece of cloth slammed at the window which luckily covered its menacing light. However... that wasn't her school blazer. The sky would be rumbling in thunder had it not been for the Dark Hour. Kotone gasped and widened her eyes as she finally realized that she was in a hospital for some reason. But as she saw what covered her modesty was sliding against the glass, setting under the horizon of her bed. In despair, she turned her attention back to her own body.

Kotone's partially transformed body is now unveiled, she now sees fur starting to grow at her chest, threatening to cover her bone collar. Her ears have now completed their migration to the top of her head. The extent of her changes is painfully evident, leaving her in a state of disbelief and anguish.

As fur continues to spread across her chest to cover her modesty in place of that robe, her breath hitches, her heart racing. Her once-smooth skin is gradually replaced by a dense layer of coarse fur, aligning with the evolving characteristics of her body.

"Please... Stop..." Kotone sobbed as she begged, but the most profound transformation was yet to come. The soft lines of her once-human form begin to redefine themselves.

Her abdominal region contracts and tightens, reshaping into a sinewy expanse of defined musculature. The skin ripples and tightens as her flat stomach shifts, transforming into a sculpted showcase of muscles. The barely existing tone of her stomach intensifies, deep crevices and raised lines forming to outline the emergence of a six-pack.

Her chest muscles, once subtle and feminine, broaden and grow more prominent, sculpted with precision. Beneath the changing musculature, the outline of her breasts shifts, tissue becoming taut and firm as it barrels out.

Her back follows suit, as powerful muscles develop beneath her skin. The sleek lines of her spine became more pronounced, as her voice cracked once more "Aagh! Ah... my... my baaAAACK!" After her legs got properly rebalanced a while ago, it's now her forearms’s turn to be adjusted. Her shoulder blades shift, enhancing the support for her newly emerging physique on the top- no, the front half of her body.

The fur that started spreading across her chest now blankets her newly developed muscles.

Kotone was confused when her body once again responded independently, this time her upper body leaned forward until her face prostrated in the sheets, prompting more loud muffled groans out of her

The cause of her confusing response revealed itself with the intense sensations emanating from the base of her spine. Pain radiates and surges, compelling her body to arch involuntarily. The curve of her back accentuates the new transformation taking place. The furs are slowly going across it. She tried to move her neck to see what was changing now, but since it was on her spine, she could not move it this time.

"Grr!! What's happening down there?!" Amid her cries and groans, the agony at her tailbone becomes unbearable. Her tailbone is stretching and elongating and presses against the fabric of her panties, the material straining under the pressure in its last stand of her human belongings.

"Whatever it is… It's coming...! OUT!" Gradually the tail emerges, tearing through the remnants of her panties. It was slow and naked at first, but with each progression made, it grew faster into astonishing speed, extending from her lower back in a distinctly wolf-like fashion. The fur that now adorns her body slowly expands onto the tail, seamlessly blending it with the rest of her transformed physique.

At the same time, her nose undergoes a transformation, the tip darkening and reshaping into a wolf-like structure. Her sense of smell heightened as her olfactory receptors adapted to this new form.

At last her body is free from the confines of its human possessions, revealing its bare natural form like the day she was born. And she's about to be the vessel that experiences everything her body welcomes for the reincarnation into a much stronger being, with the completion of her tail and each patch of fur covering what was left of her human skin.

The transformation now shook her body to the very core. The bed, despite its metal construction, buckles under the increasing mass of her now bestial form, and the tremor created by the transformation. Whilst her hips are cracking, its loud noises are drowned by the sound of the legs of the bed eventually snap, causing the entire structure to crash to the floor.

The impact sends a jolt through the room, but the bed itself remains resolutely in place, displaying its sturdiness. And despite the major turbulence, Kotone’s body didn’t even falter nor slip off its current position, only sending more shocking pulses back to her entire body as she tried to muffle her gasps.

Now unrestrained by the furniture that served its purpose as its pedestal, the transformed legs, both front and hind begin to move autonomously, stepping over the edge of the bed and onto the floor.

Try as she might, Kotone's attempts to commandeer her body and halt their movement prove futile, as they continue to advance with no setbacks.

Once her claws were screeching against the marbles, her struggle intensified as she felt an invisible force pull her hair, forcing her to gaze unblinkingly at the full moon with her body subtly turning left and gradually following suit. Any attempt to avert her eyes was met with a painful constriction around her throat as if an unseen hand were choking her into submission.

She then tried to shut her eyes, but in return, her eyes were pulled to make an even more piercing glare into the Moon. She was now desperate to find other ways to stop this twisted game of staring contests. "N-No...! I won't! I refused! I don’t want to be a-AAGH!" She fought against the compelling force, her resistance unyielding. The struggle persisted until, with multiple sharp cracks in her entire body all at once to finalized her quadruped position, ironing out the last of her human curves.

Her neck is now completely locked and with that, she made an ear-piercing wail. Her hairpins broke which briefly pricked her head. Her hair’s knot snapped and let her hair down. Now, all she could manage were cracked, desperate pleas. By each second, her once-human eyes turned into a haunting yellow, reflecting the moonlight before transitioning into an even brighter, piercing glow that was visible even in her own reflection.

As her transformation continued, individual strands of fur began to sprout on her cheeks. It was in that moment of realization that she understood the horrifying truth- there was only one way this tale would end, and she was slowly losing her consciousness, a state that had somehow persisted through this excruciating ordeal.

She gnashed her teeth as she began to wonder about questions of life. She clenched so hard it would have bled her mouth if she never experienced this metamorphosis. Why had she been forced to remain awake for this torment? Why did she have to bear witness to her own damnation, strapped into the front-row seat of her agonizing transformation, losing control of her body eons ago?

It was as if the moon took pleasure in torturing her, denying her the gentle release of death, a torment that would have been spared if they had left her to undergo this transformation in her slumber. A Decade of Trauma ever since that car accident, years that she had spent away from this cursed city that follows, thrown around from one relative to another, all accumulated into an eruption for a single night.

At this juncture, the fragile threads of humanity that had clung to her consciousness finally snapped. Any trace of her former self dissolved into oblivion, replaced by an overpowering surge of primal rage. Her despair transformed into a wave of seething anger, embracing the raw emotions she had long concealed behind a mask of cheerfulness. She knew that was the truth, it was clearly as exposed as she was, as naked as her current fur-covered form.

Her now-yellow eyes blazed with a new intensity, now featuring a red glow with an otherworldly ferocity that she could see. She cursed and screamed with every fiber of her being, her words laced with venomous defiance. "I've had enough! No more Miss Nice Gal! YOU'RE PISSING ME OFF! I WILL-" Her voice faltered, unable to vocalize the rest of her proclamation. Instead, her cries morphed into powerful growls, a language of fury that she now embraced without reservation. All she wanted was to destroy this wretched green sky, to avenge whoever killed her parents, to tear down and feast on whoever created it.

“NGGGAAAAAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!” The transformation was about to reach its climax as she opened her jaws once more. At first, it was to express the now indecipherable shrills of her pent-up boiled rage. But then, her mouth now became the door to leave room for it to elongate, gradually morphing into a wolf-like muzzle.

The bone structure shifts, causing her jaw to push forward, altering the shape of her face in inhuman ways. Her eyes were now bleaching as white as her sclera as if she never had any iris or pupil. The discomfort is palpable, she’s too engulfed by anger to think overwise. As the reshaping of her facial features continues, her senses of taste and smell become more acute.

As her muzzle extends, a layer of coarse fur emerges, starting from her chin and spreading upwards. The strands of fur on her cheeks had now grown enough to cover them. Her once-blackened human nose is now fully transformed into a wolf-like snout, and her forehead begins to show the same fur.

The sensation of her face changing is both strange and ecstatic, the gradual disappearance of her human visage replaced by the rise of her now bestial self. And with one rise, came the descent of another. As her consciousness disappears without her realizing it, Kotone Shiomi falls back into her resting place after the strain and exhaustion have caught up with her, even if she now rejecting being unable to see this through to the end, wanting to do all of it with her own paws.

A final, powerful roar escapes her lips as her transformation reaches its conclusion, her face now fully transformed into a wolf-like shape.

With her gaze fixed on the full moon above, she releases another powerful, primal howl that echoes through not only the room but also the hallways of the hospital and in the streets. The windows in front of her finally cracked after experiencing so many rapturous rampages in its wake.

Without wasting much time, Kotone walked back before she broke the window of the Hospital in search of the cause of her agony. As she wouldn’t have much time left after most of it had already been spent on her rebirth.

Meanwhile, in the streets, a werewolf with beautiful velvety red fur dashes with great speed and agility, moving past the Shadows and evading the coffins that filled the streets. It was none other than Mitsuru Kirijou, who had completed her transformation into a werewolf several hours ago and instead, her inner wolf takes control, guiding her movements with an instinctual knowledge of the city her family had rebuilt.

Today, however, there was an unexplainable urge pulling at her, urging her to explore the area close to the hospital that her human self visited earlier. Despite the unfamiliarity, she senses that someone, perhaps there’s a possible companion in danger, or just a normal human stumbling into this period. Fueled by worry and a small hint of humanity lingering; Mitsuru's lupine instincts drive her onward.

Standing before the hospital, the red-furred werewolf tilts her head, her tail wagging slowly in doubt. She begins to question the validity of her instinct, wondering if her presence here is unnecessary.

But then, the sound of roars and growls reverberates through the streets interrupting her thoughts, one that is probably even louder than hers. The werewolf's head snaps in the direction of the noise, her heightened senses picking up the scent of another werewolf. Driven by curiosity and concern, Mitsuru sprints towards the source of the commotion.

Following the scent, she closes in behind a wall to hear the noise of violent Shadows and the enraged roars of a ferocious beast. With one agile leap over her hiding spot, she arrives in time to witness an auburn-furred werewolf engaged in fierce combat with the grotesque Shadows. The newcomer's fighting style is driven by berserk fury, intent on obliterating the Shadows with intense savagery.

Mitsuru recognizes this werewolf as a friend, perhaps someone her human self knew, someone who can help her create a pack should she accept. Without hesitation, she joins the fray, leaping into battle alongside her hoping that she would consider her as an ally too....

---

The morning came, and Mitsuru gradually awakened from her slumber, taking in deep breaths as she woke up. She let out a tired sigh and sat up, rubbing her left cheek in a somewhat reflexive manner to check if there was any fur left on her.

Her eyes roved around the alley, attempting to remember the events that led her to this moment. Her head froze in place, however, as she took in an unexpected and jarring sight – a naked Kotone Shiomi lying beside her. A mixture of shock and confusion played across Mitsuru's face, her mind grappling with the inexplicable scenario. "Shiomi!?" she murmured, her tone betraying her astonishment.

Fortunately, she managed to stop herself from acting rashly. Gently shaking Kotone, Mitsuru's bewilderment deepened when she slowly realized that her friend was still in a coma. The pieces of the puzzle didn't quite fit – how had Kotone ended up beside her instead of in her hospital bed?

With a soft exhale, Mitsuru's thoughts raced as she pondered the implications of Mitsuru's immediate concern for Kotone's well-being, which is abnormal for someone she only knew for a few days. Setting aside her musings for the time being, Mitsuru resolved to prioritize getting Kotone back to the hospital.

---

About a week later, and finally, Kotone regained consciousness properly after being in a coma for so long. In the evening of the following day, she was brought up to talk about SEES, the shadows, and the Dark Hour. The offer to join their ranks was extended, and Kotone accepted without much hesitation. But strangely, that conviction is firmer than she usually was back then, as if something had changed her subconsciousness recently without her knowing.

On the other hand, Mitsuru couldn't shake off the feeling that Kotone might not remember the transformation she had undergone. Mitsuru was convinced that she needed to share this with her junior- no, possible friend.

As they settled the conversation, Mitsuru's voice was gentle yet filled with an air of gravity. "Shiomi, there's something I need to discuss with you privately," she requested, her tone indicating the importance of the matter. "Oh, ok Mitsuru-senpai", curiosity and trust evident in her response.

Kotone's gaze swept around the interior of Mitsuru's room, her thoughts lingering on the tasteful and elegant decor that suited Mitsuru's demeanor perfectly.

With the door secured behind her, Mitsuru took a moment to collect her thoughts, her uncertainty evident in her downward glance. Kotone's voice broke the silence, concern seeping into her words. "Senpai? Is something wrong?"

Mitsuru hesitated for a moment before venturing to speak, her voice carrying a mix of seriousness and vulnerability. "Have you happened to wake up earlier on any of these days when you were supposed to be in your coma?" she asked, her eyes fixed on Kotone's.

Kotone furrowed her brow, pondering the question before shaking her head. "No, not really. Why do you ask?" Her curiosity deepened.

Mitsuru's gaze turned introspective, and she bit her lip gently. Taking a deep breath, she finally broached the topic she had been wrestling with. "I saw you, outside the hospital, on one of the days you were still in a coma."

Kotone's surprise was evident in her expression as she admitted to not remembering any of those occurrences. Mitsuru's concerns seemed to have been confirmed.

Taking a deep breath, Mitsuru carefully chose her words. "You need to listen carefully," she began, her tone measured and earnest. After a brief pause, she continued, "You're a werewolf, Kotone. Somehow, you became one and underwent your first transformation while still in a coma. I am one as well; I usually go through my transformations either a day before or after the full moon... It started a long time ago but that explanation can wait"

Silence hung in the air as Mitsuru's revelation settled in. Then, to her surprise, Kotone let out a "Pffff", followed by a chuckle. "If I were to be any kind of animal, I'd probably be a Shiba Inu, right?" Kotone suggested, her tone teasing. Mitsuru couldn't help but sweat drop at Kotone's unexpected reaction, but the face she made ended up being an unamused frown.

"Shiomi, you must listen..." Mitsuru tries to say.

Kotone's skepticism was evident as she inquired "Well if it's true then can you show me the proof that I am a werewolf?". Mitsuru's lips thinned as she realized the lack of concrete evidence to support her claims.

Kotone smiles at Mitsuru, "Mitsuru-senpai, you've been overworking yourself, haven't you? Maybe you should prioritize more sleep, I can tell you that much now that I know about your role in SEES," Kotone suggested with a small smile.

Mitsuru remained silent, she knew that pressing further at this moment might not give her the desired results.

"Um... I don't want to sound pushy but you're right. I kind of want to sleep, tomorrow we have school after all". Mitsuru's gaze softened, and she nodded in agreement. "Of course, that would be applied to you as well, Shiomi. Get some rest," she said with understanding.

As Kotone settled in for some much-needed sleep, Mitsuru couldn't help but feel determined to find a way to prove the truth to her newfound friend. Perhaps those Security Cameras had she didn’t turn the camera off to hide hers if it's even functional to begin with. But even if she couldn't, the full moon waits for no one and Kotone would find out the hard way anyway. And she can't help but worry if she got caught off guard at it again… how much pain she could have faced?
