I will do my best to have Chapter 8 ready as soon as Chapter 7 ends, however, preparing for a new chapter always takes an extra week or two, if so I will make a post about it!

You need to tell Marcus how you feel about what happened, and you need to hear Marcus out. If you only knew just how sorry and self loathing he is right now…If you’re afraid he’ll turn around and come home, or give up on his dreams, then encourage him to keep going. You say he deserves this opportunity, so tell him. Both of you are hurting bad; it pains me to see this for you two. The ball has been in your court, what will you do?

2023-07-07 19:49:20 +0000 UTCI'm glad we're on the same page here haha. But he really isn't being fair at all! Mind you, I'm not excusing what Marcus did. While he didn't lie to Evan, he withheld the truth from him and Evan had to find out through accidental eavesdropping. Marcus definitely should have been honest/upfront with Evan, but I also understand his hesitation. After he calmed down, Evan should've at least let Marcus explain himself before deciding to ignore him while he gets his thoughts in order. Knowing all the information is vital when making an informed decision.

Micah will definitely be the one to knock some sense into Evan, because he really is doing the most. I understand being hurt and feeling lied to, but he isn't giving Marcus a chance to at least explain himself. Like Micah said, one phone call won't hurt. Answering his call to at least vocalize your anger and hurt is a small step to take, because he can't ignore him forever and Marcus also deserves a chance for him to tell his side of things instead of just taking everything that prick, Trent, said at face value.
