For pretending not to know who he is. Lies aren't good in a relationship even if your partner thinks they're doing the right thing. But ultimately Evan owes Marcus an apology too for hiding how bad Trent has been harassing him. I'm sure if Marcus and Evan had both been honest earlier on they could have prevented a lot of number changes and anxiety.

Yes I’d think he’d be angry at first for finding out Marcus knew his ex, but it wasn’t like he was in contact with him or anything, he only rejected Trent, so i don’t see how Evan would be angry at Marcus?
