You have the best-looking head of hair, Cap. And the beard just makes you even more attractive, if that is even possible. 💗

Hello, new admirer here! I became a member after an early morning awakening led me to your videos, which helped me relax and fall back asleep. Here are some triggers I particularly enjoy: the gentle swirling of fluids in a spray bottle before misting, carpet scratching with various textures, tapping on glasses (I love the librarian roleplay suggestion), flipping through magazines and tracing/discussing them, ear to ear whispering with cupping of the mic for added intensity, painting the viewers face, medical exams, scalp massages, energy pulling/plucking, and the occasional slime video. I'm drawn to whispered interactions and roleplays, rather than random auditory triggers. Additionally, I have a strong fondness for VR ASMR whenever it's available 😉. Perhaps you could take the listener on a forest walk before leading them to a charming café, inn, or shop. Imagine playing an informed herbalist, guiding the listener through your cozy apothecary, offering insights into the curative properties of various herbs and potions 🤤💤

Definitely keep the light triggers, but add different lights, maybe of varying sizes, brightness, and colors. Also, sounds of leatherworking, wood carving, and sand work for me. I know you're into guns, but if you have a cool knife or something, I'm sure there are triggers you could do with that.

I particularly like fluid and foam sounds. It's one of the reasons why I rewatch a lot of your barber RPs, even though I like the direct trigger videos more in general. Texture sounds are great. I recently bought a new lamp off Amazon and it came in this foam packing and I think that rubbing different kinds of foam blocks against each other could probably produce really interesting plasticky scratching sounds depending on whether it's stiff foam or the flexible phone that they're using more for packing. Like you could get craft foam or the blocks that they stick dried flowers into etc. And really even if you feel like you're using a lot of triggers over as long as you mix them up in different ways I think it's really good. Like imagine doing a dishwashing ASMR. You could be playing with the spray bottle, the copper scrubbers, various scratching sounds like a plastic scraper on a plate, textured cleaning sponge on a plate, splashing the water a little bit, squeezing soap or some kind of foam dishwashing product through your hands, blowing bubbles at the camera, etc. (Obviously it would be tricky to do it at your actual sink but you could have a dishwashing plastic tub on a table facing your tripod... Oh or maybe a camping dishwashing setup?)

Today, I discovered the amazing sounds of Frosted Flakes. The dry sounds were pretty nice. It may sound strange , but it was honestly relaxing. It may just be me haha!

I think a trigger video for elements would be cool, you could make a series… fire, Earth, water, metal, wood. I video per element.. possibly. matches, candles etc.. all awesome triggers. Another nice one, would be to buy a zen garden kit and put it all together in a video. The librarian role play suggested above sounds pretty good too!

What about an asmr librarian roleplay? You could roleplay as a librarian in a library helping us find a few books and you could include book tapping and page flipping as triggers.

Temple_0f_Time

What up Cap? Have you considered doing a mukbang ASMR? I think you mentioned it not too long ago but never followed through with it. Just don’t do noodles; the slurping sounds are gross to me. LOL Also, you did a vid on YT a few months back with beard scratching. Any type of scratching, brushing, etc., is great. I LOVE your roleplay vids; Joker, Arkham Sanitarium, etc., but I’m also aware that those type of vids require a lot of preparation so I’m sure that’s easier said than done. Anyway, hope you are having day / week / weekend! 😎

I saw someone using a Hoberman ball for breathing exercises and it was a really nice visual trigger. You can get them on Amazon pretty cheap. For sound triggers....maybe buttering toast? Or a clothes brush maybe? I'm trying to think of new scratchy sounds because that's my favourite sound trigger, along with tongue clicks!

Hey Cap, hope your weekend is good so far, despite it being busy. Something new, fresh, eh? How about singing bowls or a steel tongue drum? The vibrations in the sound can be soothing. Rainmaker rain stick...wind chime... xylophone? I guess I'm going with a musical theme 🎶 And that paired with whispers, perfect 🤌 Thanks for taking time to post! Oh, and the beard, looking good.

Great short video! Umm for trigger ideas i think about like tapping on hard book covers, coasters, typing on keyboards. I really also loved it when on YT you would drink coffee or a little snack to sprinkle a little of food/mouth sounds but I know not a lot of people are into that. I’ve seen some channels use like 3 wick candles they make good noises. I also just love water sounds and scissors they also do the trick and even just whispers.

I really enjoy the sounds of mechanical keyboards, pages turrning, anything water and wax carving and the genuine happiness in your voice and the praise is fantastic esp on those rough nights

good morning & ty beard b 🙏🏼 to be fair, everyone looks scary in their passport mugshots (i look like a dominatrix in mine). i haven't seen “Barbie” but don't feel bad if you don't get humour—i've been on the other end: i have a very dark sense of humour & i remember laughing out loud at something nobody else in the theatre found funny in “The Social Network” & one of my ex-friends actually shushed me lol Trigger ideas: 1. i've recently discovered mechanical keyboard switches (NOT the actual keyboards, just the raw insides switches). Instagram algo pushes these pretty clear keyboards to resin artists. apparently each colour makes a different noise. but Bro they hurt, so maybe wear dishwashing gloves. because they have these metal needles sticking out of the bottoms that really hurt to press on. 2. recently saw an ASMR channel do 3D puzzle (she did a doll house, because it's Barbie summer) but you can get them in other shapes. i just got some myself. they're made of cardboard & foam. the most tingly part is when you pop the parts out of the board. so it's one of those things you have to get right the first time. also the clicking sounds during assembly are nice. 3. Gunpla (my brother is super into Gundam—he made me run accross Tokyo for Gundam 😂 one time 🥵 it was summer too). again a one-time thing: the tingly part is when you nip the parts off. i recently got a limited edition set (idk if that necessarily will translate to more views? but i genuinely wanted it, so it doesn't matter.) and when you sandpaper some of the parts. 4. anything metal-on-metal. steel balls gently tapped against each other. 5. also second everyone who said dedicated paper video. 6. i always love face-touching ASMR (even though i'd smack a person if they tried to touch me IRL) 7. recently been really into listening to middle-aged men just talk about philosophy & life lol. i've got other ideas too, but i haven't actually tested them (as a personal rule, i have to like what i buy for the channel). i'll let you know in a couple of months. ✌🏼✌🏼

And don't worry the beard is looking fine 👌🙂

Momo Kass

A small feather duster, like the old school ostrich feather kind, could be nice to change up with the brush.

Momo Kass

You could try those little bean bags that children play with and toss around. A small mortar and pestle that you could use to crunch up things like dried leave or flowers. Ever foam would be great! It's a children's slime equivalent - no mess https://www.kmart.com.au/product/slimy-3-colours-pack-ever-foam-assorted-43160945/ Rotate and slide puzzle. Actually the packaging you get inside deliveries is also nice depending on what the company uses, like the packing peanuts or honeycomb wrap.

Momo Kass

Maybe not necessarily new triggers, more so ones that haven’t been used in a long time but I love any coffee related triggers. Could be something like hand grinding of beans or just the coffee making process. I love your old coffee videos🥰 Looking forward to the streams again as well!

emilygrace

Also, flipping through magazines and tracing things creates good sounds

Elizabeth

New triggers... hm... I love the sound of things like glass marbles, pebbles, crunchy leaves etc. Could be a bit difficult to find crunchy leaves in the middle of Summer though. lol You could take advantage of the beard and make some nice beard scratching sounds.

VerafiedTrashPanda

Ken was the best part of the movie, imo. Everything else was just ok. They didn’t finish all the story threads which was unfortunate.

Elizabeth

I love keyboard typing sounds and also popsicle sticks rubbed together for whatever reason. Ummm. Matches. Sound nice. Sandy type things? Rustling sounds. Beads. I know a lot of people like the sound of jewelry - rings tapping together, for instance.

Elizabeth

"I like action movies" Who knew? 😀 Do a dedicated paper sounds video? You don't do it much... ETA: And if you want new toys, maybe get one of those magnetic balls/putty thingies? Like Speks Ferrite Putty on Amazon.

Saila

Play Fortnite with me on twitch I have lots of friends on Fortnite to make it really fun 😍🥰 also you should try the trigger wooden soup ☺️ love you Cap! 💕
