Mira's return home

Weekend soon, time to recap the past week.

I started the week with some bugfixes and also changes to the sanctum spawn event. After that was done I decided to first work on the next queststeps for Mira before I then started to work on new animations for her.

So what's left to do until the release next wednesday? I still need to finish some animations. I've been working on 5 over the week but not all of them are finished yet (need to do some renders/fix some clipping). As soon as that is done (Hopefully today) I will start with the "After the initiation" dialogues. These will be about the coming events for Mira as well as her relationship towards the MC.

I'll try to get as far as possible with the dialogue and by that I mean talking with Emily/Frisha about the relationship with Mira. However there are a lot of branches to consider for me. Meaning depending on your choices you could either be with only her or have something going with the other two. This of course also means that I have to make changes to Emily's/Frisha's story because if they know about the MC's relationship with Mira and you start their quests afterwards it should change the dialogue.
And then there is also that other option where you ruin things with Mira and she finds someone else..

Hopefully all of that can be done until wednesday.. I'm starting to feel those missing two days this month. If I need more time I will edit this post and inform you on discord. But for now I'm trying to make that deadline!

Update 02/24:
I can definitly say that I won't be able to complete the update today. There is so much more that needs to be done (Currently rewriting parts of Mira's original relationship quest) Hopefully I can complete it until tomorrow. There are just so many paths for this depending on what the player does first.. I knew it was going to be a lot of work, but I still underestimated it.
