Hey guys,
I've already written it in a comment yesterday, the update isn't ready yet.
Reason being the time I lost at the start of this week (2 days) when I tried to get the day/night cycle in the mayors mansion right. It took me until mid wednesday when I finally got it working as intended.
I'm missing the "spoiler option" in these posts so I still can talk about the details but don't spoil it for those of you who don't want any details ;) so if you don't want that skip the next paragraph.
So I wanted npcs to move over the two floors the mansion consists of with the game not showing them at 2 positions at the same time and they were supposed to detect the player if he enters their field of view but not if he's in another room. This was more tricky than I first thought and at some point I was about to just let them move but without detecting the player and adding guards that would do that instead.. But this felt so bad that I had to get it right.
So it's all working now but the key events with the dialogue and implementing the animations are still incomplete. I'm working on this and I'm sure I get this done over the weekend.
