There is one other Japanese BL movie that I really love, which is "The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese". I don't know if you will like it as much - it's a little more adult in tone, but it's one of the classics, and I feel like you'd have a strong reaction to it ๐

Iโm glad you both enjoyed this movie, itโs one of my favorites and one that like you said, deals with the problems of what society is in real life. This movie is a gem in my eyes. Yes, there is a series before this that if you watch it, you will learn a little more about Shun and Nagisa. The movie itself is kind of a stand alone, so even if you never watched the series, that is okay. As always, I enjoy both of your reactions and I look forward to future reactions too!
