fractal lullaby WIP
Added 2022-05-14 19:26:31 +0000 UTCa look at the next major piece I'm working on... not necessarily indicative of something that actually happens in the story (at least not yet) but once I got the image in my head I really wanted to explore it. 😭 it carries... A LOT of lore implications, regardless of its canonicity - Maya rests against a fractal knot formation, after sustaining some horrible injury. a pair of murmur lilies are growing from her wound, and she feels her consciousness slipping... but even in this state, for reasons she can't possibly understand, she feels comfort.

this is so beautiful!! so bittersweet, soft but full of angst… i just want maya to be at rest properly!! she deserves to have that 🥹💕
