(G-DRAGON) Kwon Ji Yong - Act III: Motte - Official Documentary PT. 3 | Reaction and Commentary

This is one of the most unique documentaries we’ve ever watched. Its raw, unfiltered approach caught us off guard, but it fully immerses the viewer in the perspective of a pain artist who gives everything for his fans on tour while pushing to keep his sanity intact.

Still low-key obsessed with GD’s variety show "Good Day" —can’t wait for your guys’ thoughts! Also, gotta shout out two of his interviews—they’re chef’s kiss for getting to know his true self! GD’s such a deep, thoughtful guy, and these chats really let you peek into his mind: 📺 Oct 30, 2024: You Quiz on the Block Episode 267 ⏳ Nov 5, 2025: Son Suk-hee's Questions 3 (His reunion with Son Suk-hee after TEN YEARS! Plus, they made another five-year promise—my heart!) It’d be perfect if you watch the 2015 interview first, then this 2025 episode! Thank u for ur reaction n HNY~

Oh fr! BIGBANG’s 2012 ALIVE World Tour was the first ever K-Pop group tour to cover FOUR CONTINENTS—total game-changer back then! No cap, it was the biggest scale tour by a K-Pop act at that time, hands down. This tour was such a huge milestone that turned K-Pop from an Asian trend into a global vibe—absolute legend status!

Thank you so much for the reaction to this wonderful, deep documentary. Watching it with you was truly interesting, and I really enjoyed listening to your reflections on different topics. I love how in this documentary we truly get to see the most hidden corners of his soul, his thoughts and feelings, during such a difficult period for him, both emotionally and physically. Every time I rewatch it, it feels a little sad, but now, comparing that tour with the recently finished Ubermensch tour, I’m happy to see that he has finally found harmony with himself and ended it with a smile on his face. 💗 And you’re absolutely right, even the music selection and the editing choices emphasize his state of mind at that time. I really love these details; everything is just as unique as he is himself.

Finally! Thanks for the reaction. That’s right. At the beginning of the documentary, GD actually mentions The Truman Show. At that time, while he was musically at his peak and exuding immense charisma, he was at his lowest point physically and mentally. He was so thin that his ribs were visible... I remember he used to drink chocolate milk every morning just to get by. In the behind-the-scenes footage after his comeback, he was seen drinking white milk instead. Not long after finishing the Big Bang tour, he started his solo concert, so he was already physically exhausted. I heard he prepared that album—one that revealed his raw, true self—thinking it might be his last (as it was common back then for an idol's career to end after military service). However, just a week before the release, T.O.P's marijuana scandal and the subsequent crisis regarding his well-being broke out. He couldn't do any album promotions and had to start his concert tour under immense mental pressure, feeling as if he were being driven into a corner. I speculate that’s likely why he wasn't in a state of mind to properly respond to T.O.P's messages.
