I also got into K-pop around this time, so maybe because of that nostalgia factor, I’m biased toward 2014–2017 K-pop, with 2015–2016 in particular standing out to me. Tell Me What To Do was one of the first SHINee songs I heard, and it was the song that got me into them because I liked it so much. They tend to have a more varied outfit selection for music and award shows compared to their concerts, and I think these fits suit them really well. Jonghyun took part in producing Prism. Fun fact: the A&R and production team that SHINee is part of at SM is also called Prism. (SM has multiple teams that different groups are associated with; I believe WayV and Hearts2Hearts are also under Prism.) It’s true that they haven’t participated in many award or year-end shows lately, but that’s to be expected since they haven’t had a major comeback since HARD. (The last time they appeared on a big show was MMA 2023, which you’ve seen.) You can watch their performances at the Golden Disc Awards, which I believe is the show they appeared on the most.
