That's a funny speculation about who's the richest in this group. I think it's either Changmin, because the percentage of the money that TVXQ makes that's directed at the artists is split in just two, plus the duo is absolutely massive in Japan - they're rivalled only by BTS, according to the latest numbers I've seen. Then possibly Suho, due to having come from money already, and EXO selling very well (much more than TVXQ and Super Junior in Korea) from the get-go, followed by Leeteuk (who, by the way, definitely does not come from money) due to his consistent work on TV. He's widely recognized in Korea as an MC. I have no idea about Kangta, though.

There is a funny complication video on youtube with sm artist on knowing brothers there you can see more of their dynamic. Also you should watch Minho on d&e hey come here, it's chaotic.

That is why it looks kind of awkward 😅 The 2nd gen groups like tvxq, suju, snsd, shinee and fx were known to have the best relationsip. That time was also when the term "SM family" was popularized. Additionally, the founder of SM loved to gather everyone by creating events. The 3rd gen also has became much more comfortable to their seniors to the point that some of them actually hang out together. You can see many cute videos of their interactions on youtube, or when they met in a show. it was chaotic. However it is true that the younger one still need more time to get closer. They have a big age gap, they do not have many chances to meet their seniors, there are many changes in the company and the company does not hold many gatherings like before.

2025-06-29 02:40:57 +0000 UTCI don't know about the richest. Kangta is veeery comfortable with his long career and with his job as a director in SM. Leeteuk sure did everything (singer, MC, radio etc) for 20 years and earned good money, but with the debts his father left him after his death, he really struggled a lot financially speaking trying to repay it. Now he's good, but a good decade of his career served to reimbursed the debt. Yet, on another end, he became really good at sparing money because of this all thing. (Oh and btw, no Leeteuk do not come from a wealthy family. They were poor, beaten by their father, who ended his life along with his own parents life leaving him a note saying "Do you really think you can pay all this off" with debt certificates on the side). Changmin is probably the richest honestly as TVXQ was super popular back in the day, and still is especially in Japan, and Kyuhyun mentioned that he's richer than Minho and Kyuhyun. Key must also earned good money, as well as Hyoyeon with GG. But i think Changmin is #1. Of course it's just speculation.

SM artists still felt pretty comfortable with each other compared to YG Game Caterers (it felt much more awk imo :D).

If you want to know how rich is suho you can ask EXO members 😅 I love SM family they take care each other they go concert to support each other. Now suho changmin minho kai are in London for SM town but i saw they are running doing marathon their free time. No that is SM family song you will see all SM family singing together, Pls react Sm town my dear family my favorite song.
