Yeah, I agree that D.O. as a soloist is able to not do cutesy things like other idols do, and fans (and the general public) seem to be okay with it because people know him in EXO first as that type of person already. To add to that, I also think that D.O. can be perceived as genuine, and firm. He will say and will not do things (if possible) if he doesn't like doing them. One time, SM planned on dying his hair (he dyed his hair before but only light brown, to that extent only😅) then he showed up the day after with a shorter or shaved hair so SM has no hair to dye😅

And yes, you guys should watch Swing Kids, it's such a great movie. Aside from Ksoo having a bald head in the movie, he also learned to tap dance as well as learned the North Korean dialect from a North Korean citizen for this movie.

As for the fandom name, I think Kyungsoo’s fans are called ‘Dandanies’ meaning ‘the strong ones’ (coming from the word ‘dandan’ (strong/durable) which I suppose alluding to his super power which is strength. But there is still no like ‘official fanclub name’ and still prefers to call us EXO-Ls (written on his latest album Blossom). Kyungsoo’s personality as Doh Kyungsoo is what makes him lovable! 🥰 That forehead photocard is really iconic! 🤣 Looking forward for the part 3 of this interview reaction!
