I like your point about coach vs critic at 1:17:30, I see that all around me too in my industry. Personally when I apply the coach approach, I've noticed the difference is that I put the burden of communicating on myself so the mentee can focus on just learning the content. Also, people can tell when you've written them off and it makes them more closed against learning from you. I try my best to always put the mindset that I believe in people's potential no matter my own feelings/frustration, and it definitely makes a difference in how people respond. I very much appreciate what Lee Seok Hoon did here as well for the No Star candidate.

2025-08-10 04:53:28 +0000 UTCI'm so mad about so many things with the Boys II Planet C side. seriously, they were way stricter for people who in general have less intensive training than the K trainees. Added to that, it's all supposed to be Chinese (that's how they promoted it), yet there is only 1 Chinese speaking master, the others all speak Korean and expect immediate and articulate responses. and just in general the treatment of the C vs the K trainees is disgusting to watch. the K get to video chat their relative who live in the same countries, the C trainees got a lousy phone call with relatives while they are in a different country! there really feels to be zero respect for the C trainees. and the amount that got cut vs what got cut on the K side... I'm just so angry at this show and hope that things will get a bit better, but I really doubt it. (also I want to slap Jaejoong. he is an ass)
