See when I first watched WCI and we met Pudding. I was 100% Suspicious of her she was saying things that made me say huh! Plus Pedro and with what he was telling the Straw Hats. As time went on I wasn't fully sold on Pudding at all then these episodes it and I was like omg I was right to be suspicious. What was even more surprising to me though with how cold hearted and cruel she is, not only to Reiji and to Sanji as well, To have that cruel meanness of imitating him when he was at his most vulnerable to her and in pain, being open and honest to her and she just ripped that all open for us to see. Will be interesting to see how everything will unfold with each group next episodes. I may have Luffy and Zoro as my favourites and as much as Sanji can annoy me from time to time I still like him to! And this arc made me realise he may have his flaws but he's also human and is a kind hearted person. Plus I miss Zoro so much! lol

Also bcoz we barely got any Zoro in Dresseosa but yeah we get lots of Zoro than Sanji sometimes, so we gotta let him shine. I love Sanji too for who he is tho. Sanji fans were exhilarated—we expected a shining spotlight. Instead, what we got was heartbreak: a childhood laid bare in despair and rejection by his own family, that devastating breakup and fight with Luffy, and then the rain-damp cigarette panel as Pudding menacingly mocked him—salting the wound of Sanji’s deepest fear and vulnerability. Some “Sanji year,” right? Oda felt like a troll. And yes, that reveal ran in Chapter 850, “Ray of Hope,” issued on 26-Dec-2016—an unforgettable “Christmas present” that wrecked my holiday for days. Still, I have to thank Oda: it’s also some of the best writing in the series.

2025-09-23 14:39:06 +0000 UTCI never saw this coming and I was more shocked than you guys and frustrated and felt like a fool, DAMN YOU PUDDING for tugging on my heart strings and playing with my fav character Sanji’s heart like that. I don’t like her. Fun tidbit: so obviously when watching one piece for the first time and when I saw this episode and her third eye reveal, I was shockingly shockered. Now because I watch reactions to one piece , the CRAZIEST part was, if you guys remember and you can check this yourselves afterwards, if you guys go back to the episode where Big Mom and Luffy first interact, which was during fishman island and during that conversation where Luffy picked a fight with big mom for the first time by telling her that he was going to claim the fishman island territory and take it away from her. For maybe 5 seconds during that whole scene in ep 571, go to the minute mark 14:20 , and BAM there’s PUDDING with a THIRD EYE and that blue slime on her shoulders!!! 🤯🤯🤯so of course when seeing that as first time watchers, it happened so fast and I didn’t think much of it but I love being able to react to you guys watch one piece for the first time because when I saw that ep , I was like OH MY GOOOOD I cannot believe they teased the third eye of pudding in that short clip during fishman island arc, and that i could not wait for you guys to finally get to whole cake island and see this episode where we see Pudding’s true nature aaaaaa what a rollercoaster!!!!! but you guys should definitely revisit that fishman island arc ep and check out that scene so you guys can see 😂

If she was against her mom, why would she have them constantly by her side.

Idk which date specifically I would have to go back to last year in September and look at what one piece video I commented on but I’m too lazy to do that. I do, however, remember which video I first discovered you guys on YouTube—it was the Thriller Bark episodes, 384 and 385, when the iconic Zoro ‘Nothing happened’ scene took place. I love you guys ❤️ Question of the day: I’m putting you guys on the spot. Outside of One Piece, what anime that you’ve reacted to is your favorite? We all know that one piece is your favorite but out of all the anime’s that you’ve reacted to on the side, which one is your favorite? Demon slayer, solo leveling, dadadan, frieren, Vinland saga, or death note. Even though arcane isn’t an anime I’ll throw it in there too. And yes you HAVE to pick at least 1 or 2

The shock, the grief and the hurt I felt...it was like I could physically feel Sanji's pain and it got my blood to boiling point! That scene under the rain where he tries to light up his cigarette only for the lighter not to work and the flame being put off by the rain... Sigh, it hunts me to this day 😭 One of the most powerful scenes of this arc. All this while we finally understand why Luffy is trying so hard to free himself, to the point of almost getting his arms ripped. Oda, you effing evil genius!! Fun fact, Sanji went from being my third favourite SH to being the 2nd, just because of this episode and generally the whole arc. And it's not finished yet!

As for OP, Pudding's true nature had my flabbers-absolutely-gasted at the time, what a reveal 🔥
