Eventually you unstick them from the pool, the rivers of black liquid drip from their naked body and roll back toward the dark well. The pool was still once more.

You aren't sure how long you were staring at them but eventually you snap out of it- tossing your jacket over their shoulders and reluctently handing your pants over to your new 'twin'.
