The full prologue is finally here. 😭 🙏
It's been a very smooth and quick process with this chapter, which I'm hoping will keep up with the rest of the chapters of this season too.
I've had some of the scenes of the prologue in my mind since the early chapters of season 1, and I'm SO happy to say that they are exactly how I thought they would look like. (If not better!)
I'm so so excited for the entire S2, and I'm sure it will be an epic ride for all of us!
I will use the rest of May to work on Alwenn's teasing game & Ascension remake, so that I can continue OBS2 in June quickly. 😉
I was stressing a bit about the deadline, but right now everything seems to be on schedule enough to continue with the production of OBS2 without any delays!

2020-06-25 01:41:47 +0000 UTCOk, so I also have a MAC and wanted to run this game. What I did (fluke or not, I can't say) was right-click on the app and selected "show package contents." In the contents folder, there was one titled 'MacOS' which contained 'Oathbreaker-Season2,' I tried double-clicking on this. It opened two windows, one the game and one terminal. Let this program run, then close it out (terminal and game) and run the original application. This works for me (so far...), best of luck!

His whole "You can't say this isn't mine" is hilarious and amazing and he is an adorable dad! I can't wait for my main save (romancing good King Raelan) to meet up with her man and introduce him to his daughter! I really wonder what his reaction will be. I feel bad for Marianne since I'm going to swoop back in suddenly and sweep her King off his feet >.> at least as good as I can XD

I romanced Argandea and I can't wait until we can meet again and he can see his beautiful blue baby <3 The art is so stunning and it ran so smoothly. I find the new font for demonic speech much easier to read too. I am so excited to see how this progresses! I felt sooo protective when Theoren demanded we leave our baby with him. Also kudos for writing a baby so well. I have a son near the same age and the interactions are really close to his behaviour! I truly adore this story. Thank you for all the work you put in.

You managed to make me tear up and laugh within seconds of each other. Thank you and your team for bringing season 2 of Oathbreaker to us. <3 Spelling and Grammar Log 1. During the recap, it says "your dead sisters laugh." It should say sister's. 2. When you first meet Sapphire, she says, "You are not one them, are you?" "Of" should be between one and them. 3. When Virion and Ruven are debating the nature of fiends, Ruven calls them "expandable." While I'm sure that Riz could expand in size, I think it's supposed to say "expendable." 4. Alwenn's demonic speech is missing an apostrophe from "hguone staht."

2020-05-24 20:59:51 +0000 UTCRIN!!!!!!! you never fail to impress oml! the prologue was everything i could've hoped for and more!! i was all set up to hate theoren and then damn, the SASS! i already love this sassy, blonde babysitter lmaoo. and the reunion omg 😭 alwenn is my number one but i just had to play another save with virion as the li to see how heartbreaking it would be and ohhhh man i was genuinely tearing up. the whole crew is just really on the struggle bus rn lmaooo. i absolutely cannot wait to see where this story goes and i am beyond thrilled with everything so far. i can only imagine how gut wrenching all the other reunions will be oh god. and i really really wanna know whats going on with alwenn rn 😳 that whole scene has me worrying lol. you and the team have done SUCH an amazing job!! as always, truly remarkable work all around. everything you put out is just better than the last and i am so impressed. its genuinely been a joy following you since the first ascension novel was released. you've really come into your own and it makes me so happy to see the pride and joy you take in your work. i was really heartbroken after all the drama that went down with the ascension games but you took it in stride and worked it to your benefit. i'm so proud to see how far you've come and how happy you are with your work. you're games have been a constant source of fun and happiness in my life for so so many years now and i honestly could never express my gratitude enough. apologies for the massive ramble, my brain is all over the place today lol. but from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

My heart shattered into thousand pieces oh no (same with Virion thinking she's a demon oh god oh no) Not gonna lie I really hope MC has a good explanation for all of them as to why she disappeared w/o a word bc that's Really Harsh

2020-05-21 17:14:00 +0000 UTCHi again Kat! So I took a look at Unity forums and there *is* a windows 7 issue with the engine. Try opening the game on either Admin mode or Safe mode. If it still doesn't open, you may need to try upgrading to Windows 8+ as older OS is probably clashing with the new engine. Thankfully it doesn't seem like a hardware problem, so a quick windows update should fix all problems.

Would there / could there be potentially a way to add another skip button for that part of the scene? If not I understand!

Can you try and find this file and tell me what it says: C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\CompanyName\ProductName\Player.log If there is no file named player.log try to find a txt file that may have your crash report written. We should see why it's crashing first. (Also make reallyyy sure no other software is blocking or might have deleted some part of the game.) Are you using Windows 7?

A lot of people were worried about the Champion, I'm so glad everybody seems to like him. He is turning out to be one of my favs! *I did fixed the cards. Better to be more clear than wrong choices for the player. :) I will definitely take a look at the codes and see if I can sort them alphabetically. *The OST album will probably be put to sale by the Musician. I will tell him your feedback asap! *I was going to add a tutorial to the battle system and mini games but I forgot! I've sorted out the AV and when I open the app I get the logo with a red exclamation mark over it and that's all. Is there anything else i can do to get it working? do i need to merge anything from the first version?

2020-05-20 14:07:26 +0000 UTCA bug I encountered just now: after choosing the 'please let me explain option' the game says stuck on the cg (it's not frozen-frozen, I can open menu normally etc.) Choosing diffferent option lets the game continue as normal (In better news I am VERY emotional about Virion's first reaction. And Theoren is fun!)

I binge-played OB1 when it came out so the episodic discovery is going to be a brand new suspense-cliffhanger-filled-torment. And I know everybody says it but — everything is so DAMN pretty. I have to admit, I was so very ready to sulk at shiny champion Theoren but the sass... can’t not cackle at the sass. Your writing gets me everytime on this point. And I think you clarified the cards at the beginning? I personally didn’t mind but it felt much easier to use like this! I do have a few questions and a teeny-tiny piece of feedback (I’m the worst? Yes.) - would it be possible to put the codex in alphabetical order rather than as a numbered list? It might be easier to find what we’re looking for when it’s specific? - is there any chance to get our hands on the OST, obviously for personal use only, and even as a paying bonus? The music is amazing! I’m still thinking about that opening scene soundtrack... - I loved the battling system and how it works, but I DID have a bit of difficulty judging the impact of my choices just by the little illustrations. Any chance they could have a ‘name’ or a little info when you hover over them? (I know nothing about programming, sorry in advance if I’m just asking for things that make no sense game-wise). - And (I swear I’m almost done!) of course I loved the Virion-romance-reunion-variation, and the gentle RIBBING, but I have to admit it’s the first time I ‘felt’ the fact that we didn’t have a talking choice, at that one peak-hug-moment. Thiya’s not sappy, obviously, but having the opportunity to ‘click&respond’ with something sweeter, sweet-caustic, or feisty at that moment would have been even more emotionally involved I think? Especially since it’s a fast conversation and Virion is doing a whole lot of reaction-rollercoaster. Well. Anyway, that’s really a detail, and if that’s useless just... ignore me! Again, thank you for all your hard work, and thanks to your team, you’re all doing amazing ✨✨✨ please have a restoring nap before anything else!
