vester, slimed (april exclusive)

CADOGAN CURSE IS OVER BABYYYYY. but barely.

this is the closest it's been in MONTHS. the past few it's been super decided, or maybe two options were pretty close but something would inevitably pull ahead. this one was crazy. those top 4 options were only 6 votes apart at times. god i love a good horse race. and finally, something other than cadogan. though one could argue vester is just palette swap cadogan. whatever. curse broken i'm happy. time for pie charts.

the absolute favorite was a pretty even spread between its top options. as expected the top 3 here were in the top 3 of the regular vote, with some nudging around. i'm actually very surprised mrs.arakawa/toru species swap made it to fourth place here, considering it's in 8th. vanesse/bandits/eveline did significantly better in the general poll.

the betting poll is hilarious. i think the inclusion of this poll has, in itself, affected the results. you guys are learning. i have to assume some of you have adjusted how you vote in order to actually see the winner you want, because the fact chique/cadogan bound was 30 votes behind in the main race while it was the horse everyone favored to win tells me a lot of you probably didn't actually want it, but assumed everyone else would. both knight of thorns options only had a combined 17 believers. IT CAME IN SECOND PLACE!

anyway that was an absolutely fascinating race to watch. congratulations to the person who's been submitting vester getting slimed for several months now. popping champagne bottles for you. you finally beat cadogan, champ.

that said, i did sketch a part 1 of cadogan/ogre, and started sketching a rosaline/knight of thorns. it was That Close. had to cover my bases. thank you to everyone who participated!
