Hi all, and happy New Year's Eve! This will (of course) be our last post of 2024. Thank you all so much for continuing to support us. We've got so much more planned for 2025, so stay tuned. Now, without further ado: here's our fourth Hauthell release!

Borough Guide

Eight more years have passed in Hauthell, and the walled hamlet is now a fort in earnest. Brennis Hauthret has been awarded a ceremonial lordship, the Inquisition has established a base of operations, and a curtain wall now ensures that bad actors stay out and prisoners stay in. Villagers beyond the wall are none too pleased, of course. The village is on the verge of rebellion. Is this the Hauthell its founders dreamed of?

Maps

Our main map expands Hauthell's borders further in every direction. The most notable addition is the stone curtain wall, but three watchtowers, a barracks, and a paved east-west highway have also dramatically changed the fort's footprint. If you want to tweak this to fit your campaign, we provide 3 seasonal variants (Spring, Autumn, and Winter), 2 weather-specific variants (Rainy and Misty), plus 2 regional variants (Tropical and Lakeside).

Patrons at the chief courier tier also gain access to interior maps for the barracks and for the southeastern watchtower. Almost every building in Hauthell is now fully explorable, so you better plan some wild encounters here!

Music

Faith in Truth is spiritual music, just nonspecific enough to work for whatever religion you've established as the primary belief system for Hauthell's residents. It's emotive and choral—great for sacred spaces. In lieu of a variant track this week, Will just made a whole separate bonus tune: No Shunpikers. This is good for pre-battle preparation or low-intensity martial battles.
