New Early Video Drop: Feedback requested! (2000 in Gaming - Looking Back on the Best & Biggest Games)

This is a newer idea I'd had a while back - instead of just looking only at this year's best games like everybody else does, I wanted to take the time to look back at a random year in history. What did people consider the best games in the year 2000, for example? What games sold the best? We often think of the Game of the Year as this timeless award, but would we be surprised if we looked back on the winners from years past?
Definitely let me know if you like this idea and/or the video itself; this is an easier video to make than the usual stuff, so it'd be easy to go down memory lane pretty frequently in between larger projects if you guys find it interesting enough. It's pretty much gonna live or die on the reception, I think.

Good shout! I did hit that a couple times here or there with Chrono Cross for example, but in the case of 2000 pretty much all of those games are just in that category of "yeah of course" for so many folks that I leaned more into the 2000-was-insane angle than the individual achievements or how X or Y holds up. I almost did that with The Sims as well, but it's The Sims, we all kinda know that the games only improve with new releases (or nowadays I guess with new DLCs, rip)

One suggestion I thought about, not sure how well it would fit in your opinion, but maybe it'll be also worth mentioning what the best selling/best reviewed games in a year would mean to their respective franchises/developer and how they're viewed today as opposed to when they were released
