[Side story] Sibling rivalry #1

Before I start, I want to clarify that this story doesn鈥檛 affect the main story that鈥檚 I鈥檓 publishing right now (The Black prophecy) that story will be updated as usual (Mon, Wed, Fri).

路 What鈥檚 a side story?

It鈥檚 a little experiment that I鈥檓 trying to add to the page to post more content, as I want to write about Harry with other females, a side story is a mini story but it鈥檚 not patreon exclusive story (That鈥檚 another category) I want to take advantage of the vacations to write more, first we鈥檙e starting with this story

Updates: It鈥檚 hard to tell, ideally I鈥檇 like to update this story on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, but sometimes it won鈥檛 be possible but I鈥檓 going to try my best, now about this story, due to their constant support, i'll start with the Harry Potter community, Naruto will come next if things go well.

Summary: Rivalry between siblings is something common, but these two sisters are taking things too far by competing to get the man which they鈥檙e both in love, Harry Potter.

Pairing: Harry/Victoire Weasley/Dominique Weasley.

1. Competition for the same objective or for      superiority in the same field.

Rivalry, humanity long time ago has experienced this since the origin of life, our ancestors survived and competed against other species, and that鈥檚 what lead us to where we are right now, at the top of the food chain.

Rivalry can be good as it can be used to get better when you see someone getting better results doing the same activity that you鈥檙e doing, and this has been happening for a long time and in a lot of different circumstances.

Kings have been fighting against each other, musicians compete against each other to prove that they鈥檙e the best, everyone wants to be the best and get what they think they deserve.

And siblings are no different than that, on all families around the world and through the time and maybe even space, rivalry between siblings has been happening, and the reasons for that are different.

Parents鈥� attentions, that鈥檚 a good reason for siblings to compete against each other, everybody wants to make their parents happy, no one likes to be a loser after all.

But people can compete against each other for other reasons, that it may sound bad for some people, like fighting over a lover, and that it鈥檚 what鈥檚 happening to two sisters that are currently competing against each other, the reason? A man.

You could say that fighting over a man it鈥檚 a pretty stupid reason, it may be, the thing changes when the man they鈥檙e fighting over is no other than Harry Potter, the boy who lived, the man who conquered.

A restless auror for many time until five years ago he retired to fulfill one of his dreams: becoming a teacher. That decision was a success, the students loved him, specially the female ones, it鈥檚 still surprising to many, but Harry Potter is still single after so many years, it is said that he鈥檚 still in love with his late girlfriend Ginny who is already married to another person.

And speaking about his popularity amongst females, the two sisters said before are the daughters of people that he used to be friends with, it鈥檚 not like they鈥檙e enemies now or something like that, it鈥檚 because the fact that those girls are the nieces of the woman he once loved, trying to move on with his life, he has cut most of the ties with them.

And not because he hates them or something like that, it鈥檚 because it still hurts him to see Ginny happy with another person, so, he tried to replace her with his job and that became his life.

He鈥檚 not as close as he used to be with them, and add to that the fact that his jobs always took most of his time, then it鈥檚 logical for him to be more focused on his career than his relationships with people.

Since the year 2002, Harry worked with the auror forces, quickly moving on ranks, he could have used his contacts to be made a captain as soon as he graduated from the academy, but he wanted to prove himself, he did all that training and started as a rookie auror just like everybody else, he didn鈥檛 want any benefits due to his name.

He worked so hard until the year 2005 he finally became a captain, and around that time, the rumors about his possible marriage with Ginny Weasley were strong, but sadly Harry wasn鈥檛 in the mood for that, so, to avoid that topic, he obsessed with his job, that was his perfect excuse to not face that issue.

And that resulted in the end of his relationship with Ginny, as she was always busy with her quidditch team and he was rarely at home, Harry tried to mend things with her but when she told him that she wanted to marry and have kids, he didn鈥檛 like the idea, he felt that it was too soon for him, marriage wasn鈥檛 on his head yet.

The relationship ended in good terms, even if Harry felt bad seeing Ginny with another person, he respected her decision, thankfully, his job was a great escape for that, as it required most of his time.

He worked for the auror forces until the year 2015, around that time, he realized that the job was getting boring and monotonous, he wanted to do other things, he decided to take a break from his job, his boss wasn鈥檛 so happy, but respected his decision and even told him that if he wanted to come back, he was welcome.

It didn鈥檛 took too much time for Harry to get a new job, when he heard that there was an available post at Hogwarts for the defense against the dark arts class, he quickly spoke with the headmaster Mcgonagall and she gladly accepted.

On his first class, he had to attend a group of fifth years from the Ravenclaw and Gryffindor houses, there he meet her, Victoire Weasley, once he heard her name, he knew that he had to be careful, she was one of Ginny鈥檚 nieces.

Harry remembered the time when he meet her mother, it was during the tri-wizard tournament when he was just a fourth year, he remembered that Fleur was a bit rude to him, but Victoire was different, she was humble and always was eager to participate in class, she was a prime example for all her peers and the person that motivated him to continue with his teaching career, due to the fact that he was still an unexperienced teacher with many doubts that she helped him to clear.

She always made sure to spend time after classes with him to get better as apparently defense against the dark arts was her worst subject, and he gladly always lend her help, the young veela was quite brilliant, but she was still a teenager after all, he always noticed that her charm activated when she was around him, he didn鈥檛 mind because he knew that the veela charm was a little unstable on the teenage years.

Their relationship got better as years passed by, she even invited him to her graduation party but due to the fact that Ginny was going to be there, he had to decline with the excuse that he had a lot of work, still, he sent her a gift to congratulate her.

She surprised him the next school year when she took the post for the 鈥淗istory of magic鈥� class, and now their relationship changed from teacher-student to colleagues, but during that time Harry had to teach the sixth years, in that class, there it was Victoire鈥檚 younger sister Dominique.

When Harry meet Dominique he was surprised to see that she wasn鈥檛 like her older sister, she was more like a free spirit that didn鈥檛 care about her education too much, she aspired to other things, she was the captain of the Gryffindor quidditch team, they made her captain that year, she wasn鈥檛 that interested in magic, she just wanted her diploma because her parents wanted that, but she wanted to be a quidditch player.

When Harry realized that her grades were getting worse and worse, he spoke with her and when he found out that the reason why she didn鈥檛 put so much effort on her grades was because of her older sister who never made a mistake, her parents always had set Victoire as an example for her and her little brother and that made her hate school, Harry decided to make her change her mind so she didn鈥檛 fail his class and neither the others.

She spent extra hours with him studying, and by the end of the month, her grades started to get better and at that time she realized that she could do better, she just needed a little motivation and someone to believe in her, and Harry did that.

The consequence? Well, beyond the fact that she had the best grades amongst all her peers during her seventh year, the consequence of Harry鈥檚 actions made her fall in love with him, and unknowingly to her, her older sister felt the same for Harry.

Twenty two years had passed since the battle that decided the destiny of the magic world: the battle of Hogwarts, and today was also the graduation of Dominique鈥檚 generation.

Harry stood proud and watched the younger veela take her diploma.

- I don鈥檛 know how you managed to change her mind professor Potter 鈥� Said a young blonde woman that was sitting beside him.

Harry smiled at Victoire鈥檚 comment.

- Well鈥� I just had to say the right words you know professor Weasley? Your sister had all the potential inside her, she just needed the right motivation 鈥� Harry smiled at her.

Victoire had a cheerful smile as she looked at her younger sister, but inside, there was something killing her, she felt jealous of her younger sister getting all of Harry鈥檚 attention but she managed to hide well her feelings.

When the ceremony ended, the students, the parents and the teachers shared a room with many drinks and food.

- A rough year don鈥檛 you think Harry? 鈥� Asked a bushy haired woman and he nodded.

- Yes, it was rough or maybe it鈥檚 because we鈥檙e getting older Hermione鈥� I mean minister 鈥� They both laughed.

- Harry鈥� We鈥檙e too young to think like that, just look at Dumbledore, he lived more than 130 years and he was killed鈥� If it wasn鈥檛 for that fact I鈥檓 pretty sure that he could have lived more than 150 years 鈥� Harry nodded at his best friend鈥檚 words.

There was a comfortable silence as Harry and Hermione watched the graduated students remembering their times during their schooldays.

- So鈥� Will you attend the family鈥檚 gathering? You know that Molly will make a celebration in Dominique鈥檚 honor 鈥� Hermione served herself something to drink.

- No鈥� You know I can鈥檛 Hermione鈥� Ginny will be there 鈥� Harry said in a serious tone, Hermione just sighed.

She looked at him with pity.

- Harry鈥� You need to get over her鈥� She moved on with her life years ago after she married Luna who was abandoned by her husband while she was waiting for a child 鈥� Hermione explained.

- I know鈥� It鈥檚 just that鈥� It鈥檚 so weird you know? She was my first love, seeing her happy again would be weird 鈥� Harry drank from his glass 鈥� Don鈥檛 misunderstand me, I love Luna and I鈥檓 happy for them鈥� But I wish that it is me instead of her who makes Ginny happy 鈥� Hermione just placed a hand on Harry鈥檚 shoulder trying to comfort him.

Hermione hugged him for the last time and she moved to greet other guests, she suddenly reached a young blonde teacher.

- So鈥� What did he say aunt? 鈥� Asked Victoire with a hopeful expression.

- I鈥檓 sorry Torie, he鈥檚 still hesitant to visit us鈥� That man is really proud, once he gets an idea inside of his head there鈥檚 nothing you can do to stop him, just like your uncle Ron 鈥� Hermione sighed 鈥� Don鈥檛 worry you鈥檒l have your chance to win him over 鈥� Torie smiled at her aunt.

- I鈥檓 surprised that you鈥檙e helping me with this aunt Hermione鈥� My mom would have killed me if she knew about this 鈥� Hermione just laughed.

- I just want you to be happy dear鈥� And if you manage to make my best friend move on with his life then I鈥檓 happy too 鈥� Hermione smiled at her 鈥� He deserves someone like you鈥� You鈥檙e smart and a good person, you鈥檙e also beautiful but that鈥檚 not a secret 鈥� Hermione winked at her niece and both of them chuckled 鈥� Come on say your farewells to Harry, I鈥檓 pretty that your mother is desperately waiting for us to finally come back home 鈥� Victoire nodded at her aunt鈥檚 suggestion.

The young veela walked towards Harry who was enjoying a small pumpkin pie.

- Oh, professor Weasley 鈥� Said Harry before he gulped his food.

- Please Harry鈥� Just call me Tori 鈥� She smiled at him and he nodded.

- What can I do for you Tori? Shouldn鈥檛 you be with your family? 鈥� Asked the green eyed man.

- Yes they鈥檙e waiting for me actually but I just wanted to say goodbye, we won鈥檛 see each other until the school year starts again 鈥� He nodded.

- That鈥檚 true Victoire鈥� See you soon 鈥� He said before he hugged her.

Victoire couldn鈥檛 help but blush at his actions but she quickly returned back the hug.

- Have a good summer Tori 鈥� He said in a low tone that made her feel chills run down her spine.

It took her some time for her to come back to her senses as Harry smiled at her, he had a way to make a girl feel weaker by just smiling.

- Come on, let me take you with your parents, I want to see them again and congratulate your sister 鈥� He said while he placed a hand on her shoulder.

She nodded and they walked towards an older couple, a blonde woman and a redhead man, there was another blonde girl wearing black graduation clothes, if you compare the two sisters you could see that.

Dominique is a bit taller and Victoire, has a slim figure due to quidditch, but she鈥檚 blonde just like her mother, Victoire on the other hand, is shorter than Dominique but she has a more voluptuous figure, nice sized breasts, wide hips, a nice rear and thick but worked legs that showed that she spends time exercising.

- Harry! 鈥� Said the older man.

- Hey Bill! 鈥� Both of them shared a handshake.

- Hello Harry 鈥� The blonde older woman hugged him, her French accent lost time ago.

- Fleur鈥� You look great! 鈥� Said with a smile the raven haired man 鈥� And here鈥檚 the girl of the night鈥� Congratulations Dominique! 鈥� Harry hugged his ex-student and Victoire tried to hide her jealousy, her mother quickly noticed that.

- Thanks professor, I hope you can come with us to the burrow鈥� We鈥檙e going to host a special celebration! 鈥� Said the younger veela, Harry had a sad expression.

- I鈥檓 thankful for your invitation Dominique, but I have a lot of work to do, even if the classes already ended there鈥檚 still so much work left to do as I have duties on the express 鈥� Harry said feeling a little guilty for half lying, still he didn鈥檛 want to face things with the rest of the Weasley family yet.

- Well, that鈥檚 too bad, but when you have time you can visit our house, you know that our door will always be open for you! 鈥� Said Fleur in a cheerful tone.

The family said their farewells and Harry sighed, finally he was free, he didn鈥檛 want to deal with stuff like that, once the celebration finished he helped the rest of the staff to clean the mess that was on the saloon.

He took some books and documents from his office and took his broom before he parted from Hogwarts, the express was going to part soon, so he used his broom to get to the station.

The trip on the Hogwarts express at the start and at the end of the school year was one of the best parts for Harry, he always loved watching the landscape since he was a student.

As a teacher, his last labor before he finally could have a break was supervising the express, no teacher was forced to do this but Harry was always happy to do it.

It was already pass the twilight hour when he finally reached his home, but he didn鈥檛 have too much time to rest because as soon as he landed to sit on a couch someone knocked his door, he groaned before he got up.

- I鈥檓 coming! 鈥� Said the older man before he finally reached the door and when he opened it he was surprised to find Victoire and Dominique 鈥� Girls, what are you鈥擧e couldn鈥檛 finish his sentence as Victoire launched herself towards him and claimed his lips in a kiss that took him by surprise.

He didn鈥檛 know what the hell was going on here.
