Roadmap for June 2020

We survived May! Let's see what June throws at us....

May saw an incredible launch for our Plague of Dragons Sketchbooks. Thank you everyone who picked up a copy or helped spread the word about the release. We can't wait to ship them out (very soon!!) to everyone who ordered.  We also had a fantastic time with #LETSDRAWMONSTERS and the Mer-Mule last month. We also launched our brand new Tutorial series Drawing Dragons, then we had an awesome double-feature Monster of the Month with our Kobolds and wrapped it up with Jonathan K. Williams Fantasy Book cover Elle of Yorn and the Dragon Kiln. On top of all that we did twice as many mentorships as we've ever done before, all while streaming twice a week on Twitch.  *Whew* Thank you all for joining us for one of the wildest months we've had so far on the Patreon! 

So, to the month at hand!:

First! LATE REWARDS: I may have *slightly* miscalculated the time involved in getting all the drawings put together for our Plague of Dragons sketchbook launch (40 drawings!!) and I just got bogged down goofing around and having fun with the drawings. So that said, you are going to be getting a few late rewards here in the next few days, including the cover illustrations done for Jonathan K. Williams, and a roll-out of the aforementioned drawings done for Plague of Dragons Collectors Editions.

The Gallery Gerard Presents #LETSDRAWMONSTERS Community Art Challenge returns 10AM EST Wednesday, June 3rd!! (EDIT: We are rescheduling for Wednesday, June 10 10AM EST!)  Once again we are streaming the event live on TWITCH. Annie and I will be revealing the prompt here first on Patreon that morning and then to the general public on the livestream at 10AM. We will be giving out prizes again and sharing everyone's entries at the end of the stream.   

This month we will continue to Livestream on TWITCH every Wednesday at 10AM EST.  We will have to give the Saturday streams a break for a bit until we ship all these sketchbooks. (But we may still have some bonus night streams here and there!)

Our Classic Fantasy Illustration for June will be chosen by poll.  I will be presenting several options from our Plague of Dragons series (some from our recent livestreams too!) and want to know which one you want to see in full-color the most. 

The Order of the Gryphon Tutorial this month is once again from Drawing Dragons and will focus on Character Design. You should expect it near the middle of the month.

For the Monster of the Month we will continue working towards finished 'sets' of monsters.  Last month was rats, this month is frogs! :)

Our Mentorships Tier is completely filled up already as we had essentially all of our May sign-ups re-enlist for June. If you were promised a spot but don't have one, please PM me and I will get you in there!
