Maybe, since the initial attack failed, the rest of the agents won’t do anything, as if this event was supposed to trigger them. Anyway, I like this ep as a good example of “it’s better to die as a good (wo)man than live as a monster”. Also yay for Ianto love! You are right, in series 2 he has become much more visible and outspoken (it’s also reflected in his wardrobe, which is a nice touch, I think)
