November Sketch Requests
Added 2017-11-06 05:27:53 +0000 UTCGetting this in early because this month the requests are to contribute toward Housepets Book 8! Like last year, the pictures will be bonus material for the back of Book 8 (and possible interstitial art) so those requests need to specifically feature Housepets characters.
1. I usually only select about 6-10 to draw.
2. Please post references for anything that's not easily searchable on google images. I'll sometimes consider text description for a single character so long as it's not overly complicated.
3. The drawings will be whatever I find convenient at sketch time! Sometimes sketches, sometimes inked, sometimes physical, sometimes digital!
4. Although I will try to step out of my comfort zone for several, you usually have a better chance if you request something I like to draw (Check out the stuff I do for fun if you need an idea https://www.weasyl.com/submissions/rickgriffin?folderid=15100 )
5. Two character limit, though also keep in mind that two characters are harder to draw than one character, so I will often select one-character drawings. Any drawing that necessitates three characters or more will NOT be selected.

This would probably be better for nearer Christmas. I don't know if you know or remember the old yellow pages phone book advert. Basically it was a girl holding up a mistletoe waiting for a kiss but the boy was too short to reach, so he got the phone book to stand on it so he could give her a kiss. I think doing this with King and Bailey would be a perfect Christmas comic strip.

Or King opening a Christmas present from the Miltons, the present being a fancy new collar but with a GoPro-style camera where the tag would normally be (they went through all that trouble to film him getting married, how could they resist trying to make a sequel?)
