Here's a little of something I've been working on lately. I hope to eventually start making this story into discrete chapters and releasing them one at a time. For now though this is just a little proof-of-concept to see if I could get it working.
Also, I'm currently using Tyranobuilder but I think a new visual novel builder, VN Studio, coming out this fall, might work out better. But I don't know yet, they have not been very clear on what, exactly, all the features are going to be.

2016-07-21 14:34:39 +0000 UTCJust tried it out. This is going to be fun :3 The fun part about this is I like it when it's played as a horror story. There were some classics like "uninvited" that gave this chilling vibe. I would like to see this grow :3

2016-07-21 01:44:57 +0000 UTCThis was pretty interesting. The closest thing I can equate it to in terms of web comics would be homestuck. You can have little distractions here and there or deviate from the path slightly only to return to the main plot. I kind of like the idea of paragon/ renegade actions like in Mass Effect. They affect the story to a certain extent and give the user the illusion of control. Like throwing a bone to the reader even though the story mostly stays the same.
