I dunno, for my 2 cents, I was rather hoping that after the heartbreak and rending, that Eliza would NOT go down this path again.... I means he is a smart character.... if I want unrealistic I will go out into the real life public.

Lordgriffin

True that

So many books. So little tolerance

Marcwolf

Who say's she's not already. If she was not then she would not be worried about 'Temptation'.

Marcwolf

Because some beautiful butts need to remain unsullied.

Marcwolf

How much you wanna bet Eliza ends up becoming Bisexual/Lesbian after reading all the quote unquote “smut” in Hildegard’s Apartment? Because that’s probably what’s gonna happen but I’ll let this unfold in the next page

Aww. I remember this kind of righteous indignation. Close-minded, "holier than thou" attitudes. Pitch perfect for religions. Great job capturing that feeling. You do it so well! Hits me right in the childhood. "If she follows this path, it will be one of righteous glory for the Kingdom of God! Praise be." Ugh. Amazing art as always. Love dynamic panels. The first one with the looming temptation. *Chef's kiss.* Very cool. Final panel is nice too. as everyone has said. Great job on the background of the preacher's (?) office. So many books!

Tygepc

Or she could just hang up the phone, put him to bed, and give in to temptation. Path of least resistance and all that.

Monochrome Fox

Some kind of Mustelid I think?

Magitechnician

What kind of animal is Mr. Archer?

Neverlost22

I hate him! I hate him I hate him DX

Mattis. Probably.

No, that's the standard Protestant (can't speak for Catholics) understanding of the story. Jesus came to the Temple in Jerusalem and found that moneychangers and merchants had basically taken over the outer court, set aside for Gentile worshipers. So he drove them out. For perspective, imagine that a modern church has a specific area set aside for non-members to worship in, but a few members have set up a booth selling souvenirs and changing regular money for the specific type used for offerings in the church.

Churchill (formerly TeaBear)

To be fair... As someone who was raised and spent much of his life in an *extremely* conservative evangelical church... It takes a REAL nutcase to go with this. Like, Cult-level nutcasery. Westboro Baptist-level nutcasery. It makes me very concerned for what Eliza may be involved in.

Churchill (formerly TeaBear)

open closed mind...insert compassion and understanding

Anubis

As they say in Total War: SHAMEFUL DISPLAY! Though let's go ahead and start judging, dear almighty godly people =P

GameCobra

They have to forgive you for that. It's in the book!

Moriar

*sigh* I'm gonna be THAT guy and say it: Why does someone so frigid have to have such a beautiful butt...?

rodso64

Hilde is going to be fucking pissed

Its Fawn

Two threads: 1) nice bare bear butt! 2) OH GOD NONONONONO

Brocade

Oh dear, this is not going to end well

Leinglo

Man, Hilda’s ex has the worst luck. Dating Hilda when she was in the closet, and now, he’s married to possibly a closeted LGBTQ+ woman.

Andrea Andrew

The characters are both cute and deep, just... Please, please, please please please PLEASE don't let this turn into a cliched religious stereotype. I've seen too many of those!

Luircin

"I'm taking these home. To memorize the sinfulness."

Piedunk

Yeah, she can probably get away with hours of proselytizing as long as she show them that bear butt. I mean, it’d work on me…

VGR

I think Mr. Archer should go over there and help Eliza collect all that sinful trash - that should be fun to watch.

HorseHats

She's going to investigate it all. To see how Sinful It is

Summercat

Ah yes the reason I have trust issues with religious people.

Lucaflowe

hope so ;)

Anubis

She's going to trash the apartment in search of porn, isn't she?

Diego P

Uh oh....

Rourkie

I... Don't think he actually did that. Actually if I remember correctly that was the people who crucified him who did Edit: Nope he apparently straight up did in fact use a whip to drive people out of his father's temple Edit: A point made is he made a whip of cords and drove people out, not that he actually enacted violence on anyone. Summary: religion can be very confusing Edit: The phrase refers specifically to him using it to drive out the sheep and cattle so... Perhaps the pastor is twisting the narrative to serve his purpose?

Michael Hunt

I already want to punch that guy in the face XD what a self righteous jerk

Meigo

Oh no no no. This is not going to go well. Please don't do that.

Greg

This will go over like a fart in church

Sperkle

Well I'm sure she knows that the stuff isn't Adrien's right? If not Hilda will have to fess up about it.

Thwaitesy

This is the kind of behavior that gave me such a deep distrust of religion.

ShadowJackal

Ah yes, self-righteousness was the missing ingredient XD

Wolfin.me

Okay now I’m feeling worried

Kimba

Oh...booty

Dhaka Yeena

Nice!

Jonathan
