If I am reading hard copy and I get to a point where the buildup is over, and it crests that top like a rollercoaster, I cannot stop reading until I am done, even if that means giving up sleep for the night. The first time I read book 7 of Harry Potter was in one sitting. I had to reread it the next day because I couldn't remember anything as I first read it from the midnight release till about 8 pm the next day.
