Monthly Checkup #37: Somehow Making it

Hey everyone! Time for the news that's fit to devour in a buffet.

Everything's been somehow going okay with me. I'm still trying to figure out how to get myself to stop some horrendous habits. One awful habit is... complaining on social media about not getting enough commissions or needing money. That's also not a good look. At all. It's just as bad, if not worse, then when I used to whine about how "bad" my art is. It's especially laughable because a recent piece, titled "Fat Love Self Love", is a good example of how my art continues to improve in subtle ways. Maybe all that whining was a not-so-subtle way of kicking my own ass to improve at my work? I don't know, it was just bad. At least I stopped doing that, but now I need to stop any further bad habits.

Health! I've finally finished most, if not all, of my dental health journey! All of my wisdom teeth have been extracted. It took months to get each tooth removed one by one, but the last one was extracted on March 21st, and I was put under for that. That wisdom tooth was hidden deep inside the gums and never erupted, on the UPPER RIGHT, so it was awfully close to my sinuses and brain.

Taxes! I have just about enough money now to pay the insane fee that I usually have to pay when I file taxes. So I'll be ready for that. Thank you so much for the support!

As for everything else? I'm somehow making it. I don't know how I keep getting support and people keep wanting me to draw... but I appreciate it. I really do. I can't thank you all enough for that. Really, please keep it up, and I'll keep drawing the art you love! Soon, there's going to be some new art on my Patreon, so you can count on that!
