Monthly Checkup #19: Staving off Stagnation

Hey everyone! I'm still here and I'm still doing commissions over at FurAffinity to get by. My Patreon isn't doing very well and it's getting dangerously close to going below $100 per month, which I really don't want. I need a bigger passive income than that to help me.

I'm still REALLY grateful for what I'm getting. I love you all, every single one of you, who have kept subscribed to me despite the lack of content. I'm never really going to close my Patreon, because I like the passive income and it's helping me a lot. I want people to have some way to support me other than with commissions.

I'll try to figure SOMETHING out for my Patreon to make it more enticing and bring in more subscribers. It just sucks, you know? I have so many fans, who could easily bump up my Patreon to over $500 per month. But I get it. I get subscription fatigue, it's a real thing. I'm subscribed to too many things as well.

I know that plenty of content creators use Patreon as a passive income. Jim Sterling on YouTube doesn't offer any additional rewards on their Patreon, but gets enough support to live on. I get it that you guys want something in return, at least more often, for you stuffing a couple of bucks into my maw.

The motivation just isn't there. The primary issue is that I barely get any subscribers per early access post. Maybe 1, maybe 2, and that's it. I really do wonder if it's because I already post stuff like that as commissions or personal work. I wonder if I need to push myself and try to do comics or even weight gain sequences, maybe make them exclusive even. I don't do weight gain sequences anymore, so this might be just the thing I need to spice up my Patreon and really nail the theming of what I'm about!

I did figure out that, quite a few patrons haven't been able to pay for a year or even longer, they keep getting declined. I'll see about getting that fixed by letting them know to fix their payment method.

Just... thank you for continuing to support me. I know I'm not exactly the best Patreon creator out there, so it means so much to me that you're even tossing $100 at me. Thanks. <3
