Porcelain Garden 💙🦚 - Process

Hello Patrons!

I finished my painting, “Porcelain Garden”! 💙🦚 This piece was so fun to paint since this idea has been sitting in my WIPs for a while! My mom owns a couple of these vases, and I’ve always loved the design. So I thought it would be nice to create a whole garden filled with these! 🌸

I ended up replacing the bunnies with a peacock since most of the vase designs feature a beautiful peacock so I decided to add that instead and I think it helps with the composition as well because of its flow design! I really missed painting a more detailed piece like this. I think what helped me take my time with this painting is listening to audiobooks, I’ve been listening to Sally Hepworth’s books and I find that listening to an audiobook + painting is such a relaxing process. 🥰

Updates

The May rewards are expected to arrive today so I will mail them out as soon as possible! 🥰

I am also planning on opening my shop next month! I’ve been looking for places to print bookmarks but so far I have no luck so I might just focus on doing prints and stickers for now but I will keep looking! ✨
