Announcement Regarding Poll Entries
Added 2022-11-01 17:46:07 +0000 UTCI have had several Patrons express frustration over certain characters basically having guaranteed wins whenever they show up in a poll, making them show up as frequent winners.
After thinking about it, what I think I will do is for characters I deem to be in this category, I will not include them in polls. Instead I will set them aside until there are four entries and then for that particular month dedicate an entire poll just to them.
Only one of these polls will be held for that month if two or more characters hit 4. The second set of four will be saved to the next month.
The characters that meet this classification right now are:
~Amnyst
~Anniki
~Solerra
Characters on the watch list that may get added are:
~Ambyrn
~Thoryza
~Dehltalia
~Val Sky'za
~Valerra
Characters deemed in this classification of popular will also have their doodles omitted from doodle to sketch refinement polls. They will instead go straight into the to-finish polls.
I may consider making a 2nd group for characters that I feel lack hyper/paw themes and can’t muster a win against those that do. Paws especially and hyper drive poll votes and make it very difficult for characters that don’t have these traits. This includes characters such as Artemessa, Verta, May Sa, and Maridia (due to her nontraditional concept). These characters will all be collected together into a poll and won’t be dedicated to just one character.
This poll would happen when the popular classified characters don’t have a poll active.
I’m hoping these changes will help for those who have expressed concerns over poll results for a few months now!
