I’m really happy with how this turned out. I feel the shading shows just how refined the new workflow for doing digital art goes.
The YCH is intended to be a ground level POV but for this I modified it slightly to be more straight on so you could see the planet.

Done with mechanical pencil on a print off YCH template on white card stock paper and colored digitally in Photoshop CS5.
