June 2022 Summary

Oh! Oh! Oh! July is here! With this month we will celebrate the 5th Anniversary of my Patreon. There will be extra polls held for the month.

As for June, how I managed to still produce 41 unique pieces throughout the cancer that was June for me is beyond me, but I did it. @.@’

I can happy tell you all the commercial real estate deal that has been plaguing me for 3-4 months now is finally sealed. One of my jobs is for a newspaper and I handle a “logbook” section. This week I laid in my own real estate transfer information in that section and it was very satisfying.

Despite “Hellday” (the newspaper) being such a thorn in my side for so many years, this real estate purchase was absolutely not possible without the affiliation with my boss there. I had to co-borrow the loan with him so now he and his job are materially a part of my life. The newspaper will remain in my life until no later than the partnership is dissolved, which will be in about 5 years.

With the deal done it will be up to me to put in the work to make the vacant side of the building habitable for a tenant. I am gonna need the income pretty bad. >.>

For the immediate future I will be taking on the life of living paycheck to paycheck while half drowning in debt and taxes until I can get those debts paid off. I knew this was coming and I willingly put myself in it. Now I will pay the price to –win-.

Art is still my primary income, sooooo to pay off all those debts means I need to make lots of art. You’ll all have that to look forward to! ^.^

I have officially raised my commission rates for digital art to $30/hr and this increase will help me better be able to handle this paycheck to paycheck lifestyle. Full traditional art and “flat rate” like YCHs remain unchanged for price.

Also on the topic of YCHs, I have made a slight change to these. For the most part I eliminated the template and now “YCHs” are more reusable themes. They will be similar but will still be drawn from scratch. This helps with certain templates having issues with me adding pawwear to them, because you know that’s a –big- thing to me. =w=
