November Rain~

Hey loves, how've ya been? I hope the last few weeks have treated you well~

Me? Well, honestly, I feel like I recovered from being sick just in time to get kicked by DST. Seriously, dusk at 4pm is something I'll never get used to. 

I feel like all the plants in my living room; dried out, bummed out, and missing the sun :/

But, we're trying to stay optimistic~ I mean, just look at this Bean:

How can you be sad about anything with that little face staring at you? <3

And winter is the perfect time of year to curl up on the couch with a good puzzle~

and a nice hot drink~

(please ignore the paint stains and mess all over my desk, it's been through a lot of painting streams lol)

And I really wish I had more photos to share with you all, but between the sick and the shorter days, I've kinda just been spending a lot of time napping on the couch :/ I'd like to get a few little projects started, just to keep myself excited about getting up and *doing* things. I'm sure you can understand how difficult that can be some days.

I'm also sure that once the snow falls, the rinks open up, and the ski trails are usable again, I'll have plenty to keep me busy. I really want to get more use out of my ice-skates this year, and my town has been building a gorgeous little ice path downtown every year. I'm actually really looking forward to going for a nice hot chocolate and a skate at night, with the lights twinkling and the snow falling <3 Or a nice ski through the woods on a sunny day, watching for footprints in the snow, trying to guess what animals had been through just before us :)

See? Plenty to look forward to. And plenty to share with you all here <3 We just have to get through another month or so of rain, cold, and gloom lmao

Oh, and I guess my birthday is coming up too?

November 22 :) it's on a hump day this year (rawr~) It's always so rainy and gray around my birthday. No wonder I'm such a little gloomy raincloud lol. Celebrating it really does help break up the monotony of this time of year though; I've had a history of tropical themed birthdays, trying to bring a little extra sunshine out at the end of November. Maybe I should bring that tradition back for a few birthday themed streams? We'll have to see~

The weather is actually supposed to warm up a bit this week, so I might try to get a little archery in (which I'll definitely share here), though there isn't enough snow to make a snowman target....yet. Other than that, I have a few things I need to get done this week, outside of streaming of course. I've got ornaments to sew, a house that needs to be cleaned, and some decorations that need to been found and taken out of storage~ I'm getting some energy back, so hopefully next Monday's update will be a little more fun and a little more visual~!

For now though, I've gotta do some skincare, haircare, and then get some beauty sleep (plus the Bean is definitely giving me that "bedtime plz ma'am?" look) so I'll see ya later~ I hope Monday treats you nicely <3
