Editing, Editing and Toxic Materials....

Quick start of week update - for those new to the patreon I currently have long covid and am working as much as I can while healing :)

I've officially started the editing of the video, talking head and voice lines are being laid out as we speak and I'll be making steady progress with that as best I can, as well as editing the equipment list to include 'getting started' lists to make life easier for new crafters and generally reorganising in the hopes of making it easier for you guys to navigate.

It has...grown somewhat since the early days 😅

I am a bit more 'brain foggy' than fatigued at this stage (symptoms go up and down...) so I keep having to duck out to work on less 'thinky' things, like 3d printing/painting for an upcoming project, and updating some older pieces so I can use them in videos still. basically stuff like the plinths, buttresses, older columns, the temple entrance and the early, ill fated 'firepit' that still works quite well as a small water feature/cistern. They all needed updating in paint scheme to match the new walls/floors, and some needed magnetising...

If you're curious, I used 6x4 magnets for the plinths, buttresses and temple entrance. The plinths you could get away with 6x2 or even 4x2, but I like the rigidity and security of the extra hold :)

Aside from all that, the 'secret project' continues unabated, with updates coming in from the artist I'm working with pretty much daily, and replies/work on the project from me taking some of my energy too! it's really hard to explain without giving stuff away 😂

At last count, there are 12-13 'things' you guys will get access to once it's ready - depending on how you count them!

I've also been in touch with an LED company that has a nice wide variety of cool toys, and is willing to work with me to experiment coming up with an awesome new way to do what I did with the lava lighting to make a completely new feel for an area, but in dungeons/buildings...

I cannot wait to get playing with that 😁
