Scanner Darkly, Jackie Brown, BIG, and Big Daddy are amazing movies that are both serious and comedy. Check out American History X, Almost Famous, Fargo, Ex Machina and Mr. Nobody if you need recommendations for other famous movies that are more serious. Animal House, Billy Madison, White Chicks, Happy Gilmore, Super Troopers, Idiocracy, Harold and Kumar go to White Castle for famous fun comedy movies. All are super famous and important movies. Keep up the good work! I love your reactions.

2025-08-23 00:20:14 +0000 UTCThe only Godzilla movie I used to own was "Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla" 1974 and I would watch it all the time. That version of him was brutal, I can never forget what he did to Godzillas bestie Anguirus. This movie has two great references to the original Godzilla vs King Kong, the balloons transporting Kong and how he sticks the axe in Godzillas mouth like he does with a tree in the original 😄. (I also loved the quick comment from Hella about the girl singing for Kong just like how King Ceaser was woken up in "Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla".)

2025-08-22 23:06:19 +0000 UTCThe problem with Jurassic Park is that they're all the same.... "Dinosaurs get loose" "Dinosaurs kill people" "We have to escape the Dinosaurs" ..... It's not necessarily bad..... I just think it will be bad to watch them 1 after the other because they're all the same.... I actually keep wondering when they're going to run out of these islands that they keep going to lol

2025-08-22 19:40:06 +0000 UTCHella "Godzilla is his bitch now.".😅 The human storyline in this movie is absolutely bonkers. But the monster fights are all the better for it and that's why you watch these movies. I think this movie has the best CGI of all the Monsterverse movies. The fight between Kong and Godzilla is particularly awesome. I like how the movie shows Kong's strengths and considering that Kong has a lot of disadvantages compared to Godzilla, I think he did well. But the highlight is when Godzilla goes into this primal reptilian mode at the end and shows Kong why he is the king of the monsters. I also liked the ending. Kong doesn't kneel before Godzilla but when he drops the axe he shows that he recognizes Godzilla as the victor. The book describes how Godzilla and Kong agree that Godzilla will rule the upper world, and as long as Kong stays in the hollow earth, the two are cool with each other. Kong's axe is made from a back scale of one of Godzilla's ancestors, by the way. Mechagodzilla is not controlled by AI; the book describes that a remnant of Ghidorah's will taking control. I wasn't entirely satisfied with the Mechagodzilla design. Yes, it's more "realistic". But I still find the classic Japanese design more iconic. Next week, we'll see the final installment of the Monsterverse saga for now. I think Godzilla x Kong is very reminiscent of the Showa era of the original Godzilla movies. Some parts of the movie are so crazy, I'm curious to see what you ladies think of it. That was an awesome reaction, ladies, as always.💜

2025-08-22 16:37:17 +0000 UTCI like the movie's cute attempt to make Kong the sympathetic protagonist, but also Kong: gets captured, couldn't even break the chains, humans babysit him for the rest of the film, finds himself a weapon (a magical bullshit weapon that makes Godzilla unable to aim away from) and still he never stood a chance. Vulnerable fur and skin instead of armored scales, can't fly, no atomic breath, underwater disadvantage... nice try film, I'm not siding with no basic bitch monkey I go with the God-lizard instead
