Gilly isn't North of the wall she is currently on the South side of the wall in Mole Town. Her baby isn't in danger of White Walkers(right now) just regular crazy humans. Craster Keep is north of the wall where they killed the Lord Commander of The Night's Watch Jeor Mormant. His son( Jorah Mormont) the trusted ally and friend of Daenerys Targaryen is currently in Meereen. By the way, the intro is always going to show you where you will be on the map in that particular episode.

Game of Thrones night with Movie Munchies has turned into my regular 'cheat' or pizza day. I just grab some comfort food, get comfortable, and enjoy the always entertaining commentary.

You actually had enough information at the time of the episode to know who poisoned Joffery. But after this episode if you go back and rewatch it the culprit will be obvious.
And those rogue Night's watch at Craster's Keep were not eating people. That was pork in that the bowl. it looked like pigs' feet.

... and was sent by Roose Bolton to locate the two young Stark boys - which is probably why he's at the Wall

As others have mentioned you don't seem to have recognised Lock Who was With Jhon Snow. He's the same person who cut off Jamie's hand And put Brienne of TarthIn the pit with the bear.

Woohoo! Love the twists and turns this season. Although methinks you may be missing something whenever recruits arriving to the wall.....perhaps it's not their first time showing up in the series.

George R.R. Martin began writing Game of Thrones in 1991. He wrote one episode of the show each season for the first 4 seasons and advised on the other episodes. Starting with the 5th season he stopped interacting with the show and devoted himself to finishing the final book, book 6, The Winds of Winter. He still hasn't finished it. He provided the showrunners with an outline of the final book so they could finish the show series.
