2021-08-22 17:25:40 +0000 UTCIn the meantime if you still have your old card and its also NVIDIA you could have it rendering alongside your 1080ti to get your render times down, and then do the same with the 1080ti when you can afford the 3090, EDIT: This is assuming your existing power supply can cope with two GPUs mounted, do research beforehand so you don't accidently blow out your PSU.

2021-08-05 15:24:56 +0000 UTCIt definitely does better. It is now allowing me to render some bigger scenes with gpu because of the bigger vram. Before I lost really a lot of time to either make scenes able to fit into the vram or render with cpu wich would take even longer.
