Just click on 'trouble logging in'
Tinder will prompt you to enter the email address that is linked to the account which you want to recover.
After you enter your email it will send you a link to your email to verify that its really you who owns this email.
Clicking on the link in the email will send you to a screen where tinder will ask you for a phone number.
Now here is the catch. It doesnt ask you for the old number but a new phone number. It is basically telling you to change the phone number in the tinder account you want to recover so that you have access to the same tinder account with the new phone number and rightly so because that is what recovering is
