I swear I disliked EVERY arc in the beginning and loved them by the end.

2025-06-20 20:19:17 +0000 UTCGood points at the end, you made me realize that for Ging, having a son was actually one of HIS detours along the way that he REFUSED to enjoy, and if he had enjoyed it, he'd have found something more precious than what he was seeking out in the world, the relationship he could have had with Gon. Ging kind of f-cked up by not taking his own advice. The moment my infant son was put in my arms, everything else paled in comparison, and I think in the real world, that's how it works, so I don't think Ging in the real world could have just dropped his son off with his cousin and gone back to his Hunter life. We are hardwired for motherhood and fatherhood.

I have really really good friends, and in many ways, its so similar to the friendship between them, so that was abig factor for me. I also totally get what you say about Gon, even tho he had a very bad moment, theres somehting so pure about him, and his constnat outlook in life in a positive matter beside that one moment. I think that mooment also happened so people realized that everyone can have those moments, even the most kind person you know on earth can loose their shit at times...<3

IIt was just too much, like the buildup, the pain, the music?? My heart was in BROKEN...WAIT WHAT. Gotoh was a mutant coyote?? I totally missed that connection!! i might have to rewatch that, cause i feel like i really missed out on that and thats sad, but thanks for the headsup <3 Thanks again for your thoughtful message! You clearly know your HxH lore and I love that 💕 i might need to read it all from the start if i wanna start the manga, cause i feel like they often tell a bit different story than the actual shows

If I had to replace it with something it would be Vinland Saga or AOT but, HxH just has special place in my heart that can never be filled with another anime. A couple of my opinions.. Gon and Killua are by far the best anime friendship I've ever seen. Somebody in a patreon comment section once asked me who my favorite character in the series was and I almost defaulted to Killua but then I gave myself some time to think it over. I never responded to them (lol), but after some time I realized it was Gon. Killua referred to Gon as light and he truly is, regardless of the things he did during the chimera ant arc. Nobody in this anime or ANY anime, tbh, makes me feel the way I feel when I see Gon smile. It just feels so genuine and like it's coming from a place of such warmth. Gon has so many great qualities about him that the characters in the show fall in love with and he's not even trying. And by that I mean, it's not like he's TRYING to make people like him. Just his natural character and personality is enough to win people over. One of my favorite things about his personality is how he doesn't judge others he doesn't know. He listens to their story and he fully accepts them for who they are. Imagine if he DID judge people? Him and Killua would of never became friends and he would of never saved Killua. The only people he had problems with were people who hurt or affected somebody he cares about in a negative way. I have a hard time believing there's anyone who ACTUALLY hates Gon but if there is, I feel sorry for them. Gon is truly a treasure.

This anime came out weekly over decade ago. Nowadays anime have a seasonal treatment which just works better for animation / pacing

I remember when I finished attack on titan I physically felt sick and I didn’t know how to live right for a long time😂 finishing Vinland and hxh is gonna be rough but u did it👍🙂

2025-05-14 23:49:33 +0000 UTCOk Im writing a long message: 1) you are not the only one who react like that in the gon vs pitou, for example also “lm reactions” they were pretty worried about gon and sad, they probably even cry more than you 😅 so you are not alone, don’t worry. 2) at the end Gotoh was a mutant “coyote” if you remember in the first episodes of hunter x hunter gon and killua during the pre exams, talk with some of these animals and be friend with them (they are shapeshifter) 3) the manga continues a lot of chapter later, and keep in mind the sentence by Ging about the world and where the ant come from etc etc it’s one of the most important speech in hxh. The pandora box reference too.. But I have a warning if you want to continue with the manga, it will be really really really complicated and different due to politics in this world, also with kurapica main protagonist in this manga arc also with a bit of Leorio. The chapters will be complex sometimes, and other times also normal. Don’t get me wrong, the manga it’s still peak, but in this moment it’s SOOOOOOOO full of new characters and new things that it’s difficult to keep in mind everything. To be honest hxh and Naruto will be the best anime for the characters, and yes Killua is the most beloved by everyone and every girl on the planet 😂❤️
